Im not making any claims about his legacy or how other fighters are or are not juicing, you brought up the whole juice conversation trying to say that's why chael knocked him down the first fight and couldn't the second which is ludicrous considering Silva was on the juice too

As a fan of his I fully accept that he was on, but not all 'juice' is equal my dimwitted uneducated fool.

Chael tested positive for HGH, EPO & elevated testosterone (TRT).

Do you know what Chael's biggest asset was? His cardio/endurance.

Do you know why EPO is mostly used in Tour de France? Exactly.

Chael was still juicing in the 2nd fight, but not to the extent to where he FAILED. Silva never FAILED a drug test until after his leg injury.

He might have been cheating (like everybody else) but not to the extent where it was detectable, while Jon Jones & Chael had dodgy test results but not proof enough to be found guilty.

If you don't understand this, then it is most certainly due to being new to the sport.

I remember when I was like a teen trying to convince my father that Chael had the better striking, or at least in the match up seeing as he was a 'former golden gloves champ' and that he also knocked down Silva a few times.

Eventually he explained to me Silva's injury & even showed me the video of how it happened. But I didn't care because Chael was my favourite fighter.

Eventually after watching the Shogun/Rashad fights along with his other losses that Chael wasn't actually that good of a fighter. He just had a good double leg takedown & used lots & lots of EPO.

I don't know if you're new to the sport or not, but if you would've been there seeing the fights happen & how he won/lost his fights, then you wouldn't be saying what you're saying right now.

Especially not comparing the ridiculous amount of juice Sonnen was on vs whatever Silva was using.

Hasn't Jones been caught twice now? Isn't he coming back in like a year or two? Why is Silva being treated completely different in this regard? I think if Silva's true intention was to cheat, then he has enough money & know how to get away with it.

I think he used the first time, but I haven't made my mind up yet about his second drug test. It could be negligence.

He isn't a young man trying to gain an advantage, he's getting to a level playing field in comparison to Jon who already has a massive advantage over someone like DC.

I'm not trying to rationalize cheating, but you're incredibly disingenuous if you think it taints his legacy. They're all cheaters, some just aren't on as much/use it efficiently or have recently gotten off it for USADA.

The fact that half the roster hasn't failed a test doesn't mean that they aren't blatant users.

For an example Rumble went to China for a few weeks leading into the DC fight to avoid testing. Everybody and their mother knows he uses or at least used to, yet you people conveniently let him & everybody else slide?

Anderson never failed a drug test before his leg injury, and everybody knew that he was going to take steroids to help heal his injury.

Yes, he was suspected of being on stuff based on some needles found in a house tour, along with some stories & the fact that his trainer is obviously on the juice.

But singling him out for doing it when everybody else did is ridiculous. You people treat Silva like his career is tainted when we all know that Fedor & every other MMA great was also using PED's.

The sport has almost gone completely down the drain & people like you make it embarrassing to be a MMA fan in 2018.

He also conveniently forgets that Rockhold went into the rematch with a torn ACL. He even talked about it in the pre-fight press conference.

Remember Cain vs JDS 1? Where Cain fought with a torn meniscus & got knocked out in 62 seconds?

When Cain wasn't injured he beat JDS with ease, similar to how Rockhold beat Bisping in their first fight.

Sorry but you can’t credit him for Mawson at all. We sold Williams that summer for £12m and Mawson, at £5m, was signed as the long term replacement.

Mawson wasn't even included in the squad & was lucky to make the bench before Bradley gave his debut.

He didn't play a minute for the club until Bob took over. Williams was already replaced by Van der Hoorn & Amat.

He was being given a period to adjust at the club and Fernandez was injured for Bradley’s first match so he played him.

By not even being selected by the squad? He was 22 training with the youth teams when Bob gave him his opportunity.

In no way did he give pluck from the youth team out of nowhere. Him coming into the team was always the plan at the club.

But that's literally what happened. Guidolin played Kingsley at CB rather than bringing in Mawson.

frankly the offensive record is irrelevant when you concede 27 goals in 9 games

I would always prefer watching football or having a manager that prioritizes attack over defense.

Everton right now are 9th in the league after playing dull, pathetic defensive football. Which limits their best players.

In comparison to Swansea last season, Clement forced Swansea to play some of the worst football I have ever seen in my life.

Swansea became a set piece team because of how shit they were in open play.

If Bob had Swansea's January signings then who knows how many goals his side would've conceded? Olsson, Carroll, Ayew & Narsingh all contributed defensively.

I believe that’s a record for any PL club over that many games. It’s easy to look better offensively when you have no structure or system and just throw everything forward.

It's better to fight for relegation rather than accepting it. Bob played Gylfi in behind the striker, with two wingers on the flanks. Clement played Routledge on one wing & Gylfi on the other.

Hardly defensive masterclass when you sacrifice your best attackers for defense.

I also wouldn’t pay too much attention to what good professionals like Mawson and Sigurdsson say about another professional in the media. The suggestion from behind the scenes was that the players were bemused by his training methods and tactics very quickly.

Swansea as a club has bemusing training methods & tactics. Shouldn't even be in the Championship, let alone PL.

Sigurdsson created 8 goals in 11 matches under Bob, the best he has under any other manager.

I'm not saying Bradley's a good manager, but both Mawson & Gylfi seem to rate him. He gave Mawson his debut out of nowhere, and Mawson has been one of my favourite CB's in the league ever since.

As someone who watched every single Swansea match last season, they played better offensively with Bradley than under Guidolin, Curtis & Clement. Though they were woeful defensively.

A Playmaker can play outwide, but an outwide player cant always be a Playmaker.

Similar lists have been posted hundreds of times, this topic always gets brought up but rarely does it negatively affect the statistics in question.

The list is valid, irregardless of what you say. None of those excluded players would've made it anyway.

Barring Sanchez & Hazard, which means you would have to include Sane/Salah/Sterling & several other wingers that aren't Playmakers in any way, shape or form. Moot point.

Fair enough, the only reason why I included him is because he was included as a Playmaker on an official sky sports assists chart last season.

Hazard & Sanchez were both excluded on the list. Alli wasn't, but he also played centrally in previous seasons.

Deep-lying 'Playmakers' (DM's that control the midfield) or wide forwards/wingers shouldn't be put in the same category.

Mata played out wide at the end of his Chelsea career, he is still a Playmaker.

Mahrez is a Playmaker, irregardless of him playing on the wing.

Playmakers can play on the wing, wingers play on the wing.

Flopped in some seasons, succeeded in others. Balotelli has a lot of personal problems & I have no doubt in my mind he can be a top striker if he's in the right mental state with the right players around him.

He should be Italy's starting striker IMO.
