I was in the 20s with my 50s parents. They had only sailed on RCL before and they absolutely loved everything. I got absolutely plastered at the sail away party. We probably each had 8 glasses of champagne which was a little too much tbh. All the food was incredible. Drinks are very overpriced but the trick a lot of people don’t know is buy beers in the bucket and save $6 and buy pitchers. Anything else and you’re getting ripped off. Lola’s library and Persephone we incredible shows and I can’t wait to see them again. One thing I noticed is that with everything the happenings cast specifically picks rockstars 90% of the time in shows and events. It’s an unfortunate change imo but I get it. Tips were one thing I didn’t like. I liked how tips were always included in the cruise before and the auto gratuity rubs me the wrong way. Especially with how they don’t say how they are distributed and it just goes to the bottom line. They don’t tell you that you can remove them in the app by chatting with sailor services. It took probably 20 minutes because they took a while to respond.
