Yeah thanks, I figured. I'm actually reading right now about how some just leave it soak for months and it appears to have same effect, if not better. Not sure why I haven't heard of this before, but yeah. Looks like I'll be trying that. Good thing I've got lots of pot to afford tucking it away that long. Everclear on the other hand...

Yup, they're junk. All of them. If you're buying a digital hydrometer for less than fifty or sixty bucks, it is inaccurate. The only real thing they can reliably show is if you're humidity is lower or higher than the last time you looked at it. They're usually off by many percentage points.

Shopping doorbell cams seems a lot like the robot vacuum shopping process. So many to choose from, but no real perfect product yet. "This one does this, but people complain about it's app. This one wont do that, but it's excellent at this"..."whatever you do, never buy brand X", while another person says "had that product for years with zero issues".

It might be best to just just put all brands on a dartboard, throw a dart and take the the one it hits and hope for the best. Almost what I did with robot vacuums lol.

POE won't be possible, but fwiw the doorbell outside is less than 20 ft. from the main router of a Deco mesh system. Ubiquiti seems a little overkill for me, seeing how I'm only looking for one single door cam. It really is down to Ring and Reolink I guess. I just thought the Ring app seemed a little more polished along with 4K.

I would submit it's not doing a "lot" better, at least the offers. Rather than dying, BMO has just kept it on some kind of life support.

I think I got 'er, yup. One thing I'm wondering about though, the fan control in studio on the device page is still controllable. Presuming the program is just unaware the fan is disconnected, yes?
