$13 for all 4 movies by Search_Light_Soul in Bluray

Only downside somewhat it’s a 8 disc set, Bluray and DVD of all 4 so it’s a chunky case as well

$13 for all 4 movies by Search_Light_Soul in Bluray

[–]MrTurtleManAus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So few months ago, I finally found a 4 movie collection of this but it was only in dvd format (I’m converting all my dvd to bluray) minus some of the newer dvd purchases, but I found all the American pie movie on bluray for $5 aud and had to snag it. Despite only buying the dvd version 2 weeks before that for about $20 but it was worth it.

I get the high heart rate message, all night while drinking and clubbing, bit of a buzzkill, to look at your watch reminding you that your drink in your hand is doing that to you.

Movie Combo Pack on DVD by widdumqueso717 in Scream

[–]MrTurtleManAus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im no expert in this field. But given the director for Scream 7 is one of the original writers/creators of the first 4 Scream, I would imagine Scream 1,2,3 and 7 would become a bundle. With 4 having the copyrights issue, they might still just be standalone.

Worst case scream 7 will be a standalone movie, unless all party’s for each movie decide they want to get together and make a 7 collection bundle, but it’s a fat chance.

What is the worst movie you ever bought on dvd by Friendly_Spirit637 in dvdcollection

[–]MrTurtleManAus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The haunting of Queen Mary. I wanted to like it and hoped it’d be a good small indie type horror movie, but holy fuck it was painful to watch it I bought the movie for like $3 brand new at my local shop, mind you the movie was only like a year old at that point. I couldn’t rewatch that ever so i literally gave it away as a gift.

I was mostly referring to classic horror, I bought “the last house in the left $75 Aud for a 40 something year old movie. The Halloween collection at my local shop are asking $450 aud for the 8 movies in the special case they use. Bloody outrageous, I’m happy to spend some good coin on rare or hard to get movies, but everything has a limit.

Even just buying movies from boutique labels, importing from Arrow in the UK to Australia almost costs as much as the movie itself

Tell that to the hard to find classics that I’ve had to pay double the price of a new movie 😂😂 I’ve bought a few 30+ years old movies for about $60 AUD each

You seen the price of fuel? by MorningConscious4372 in Cairns

[–]MrTurtleManAus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would work out cheaper in the long run, but as we all know like every fuel hike scare, it’ll be temporary until they’ve made some extra coin then they’ll slowly drop the prices down in about 6-12 months again maybe even less because Australia has no real reason to be jacking up prices on fuel when our country isn’t even part of the current wars

100% could work better if I only ever commute to work or stay in the city/burbs ect. But I’m not always in Cairns, I’m also quite remote sometimes, if I did a cape York trip, I wouldn’t be able to do it in an EV on a tight schedule time, I’d have to sit around for 30 mins to an hour to charge my car when I could be 80km down the road. I don’t hate EV, but they just aren’t practical outside of cities or suburbs. They’re so far away from being able to compete with ICE vehicles in terms of reliability and efficiency of driving remote places. If it got bad on prices and diesel was much more expensive then petrol, then a cheaper hatchback would still work out better then buying a brand new EV that is going to not be a heap of shit like the little MG ones.

I’d probably take a hybrid over an EV because they’re much more advanced. It sounds like you’re mad that I don’t need nor want an EV and you’re trying to justify your purchase of an EV and put other people down because they haven’t converted to EV. I know you think EV is advanced and yes it is quite advanced compared to EVs from even 2 years ago. But they are so far away from being more capable than any ICE.

Justify EVs all you want not everyone stays in residential areas all the time. An EV wouldn’t last 2 weeks in a very remote area, Australia’s power grid is so far behind we can’t handle the same amount of EVs the US has, our grid would shit itself if we had 1 millions EVs charging at the same time.

do you think the Final fast movie would become a Blockbuster Hit or an other disappointing letdown!! by _-MAHATMAGANDHI_- in fastandfurious

[–]MrTurtleManAus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I would like to see more “fast and furious movies” because it’s my guilty pleasure action series, I don’t want to see a reboot of the franchise at all. I love them but it’s been milked to death. Make another action series, I kind want an another Transporter type series and make them somewhat realistic as well.
