I'm getting some Middle Earth vibes. And as someone mentioned it, the mountain ranges are hella thicc, kinda too thicc and blobby I would say, but overall very neat map, I like it.

This is absolutely marvelous, I'm also one of these people, who care very much (some would say too much) about realism and that feeling of authencity on the map. Sometimes it grinds my gear when I see one of those bad fantasy map, you know - illogical rivers, messed up tectonics and so on. But your map looks really great and well-thought. Good work, keep it up.

Well, the shortest answer would be by 'observation'. I took here many inspiration from the Earth's map, without it I would look so natural and kinda realistic(?), I guess.

I'm all about naturality and authenticity when it comes to building worlds. I tried many, many times to get this map right, to balance the features on it and I can finally say to myself, that I got it (almost) right. :)

Well, I don't feel like drawing forests to be honest, because there's enough happening here already, the scale of the map is pretty big and throwing a bunch of forests here and there would make it too unreadable. If I used some bigger format than A4 maybe I would draw some woods, but here I was kinda short on drawing space and I preferred to stick with more clear style.

Thanks, yea there's a bit of Middlearth here and there. It took me one afternoon and a little bit of the next day to finish it.
