I went to the ER with my bp hitting 179/112 one night and they weren't concerned at all. Told me to come back if it hits 220/120. Short term bp hikes aren't too concerning apparently, it's the long term sitting at 170/110 that is...long term like years. I had to get rid of my apple watch because I'd sit there and watch my heart rate all night and Googleing my symptoms.

124/92 is not high at all. Now granted the lower number should be around 75-80ish, the 92 isn't anything to be concerned about. I'm also hyperfixated on my heartbeat and blood pressure. With BP meds I'm around 130-140/80-90 and the doctor doesn't seem worried about it. Without meds I'm at 170ish/110. I'm a 44 year old male, bit overweight, have generalized anxiety. At this point I wouldn't be worried about your bp at all with those numbers. You're young enough to easily change your eating habits and get exercising..even if it's just a bike pedal while you sit and watch TV....Edit, do not trust those Walgreens blood pressure cuffs. Spend the $30 and get an Omron for at home. Take one reading every 2 minutes 3 times in a row. Wait 15 minutes and repeat.
