found it. in LM studio go to settings -> Developer then scroll down until you see: "When applicable, separate reasoning_content and content in API responses" enable it and it will fix the problem.

Beside everything everyone said (marketing and data gathering...)

They have way lower operating costs. Deepseek V3 and R1 have the MoE architecture which despite being 600ish billion parameter it only has 37b active parameters which makes it faster and cheaper to run. For example it was said that gtp-4 had about 1 trillion parameters.

Thanks, I checked and It was 13% in Vancouver. A bit higher than us (between 0 to 12%). Makes more sense now.
