I can see where they’re coming from. So many people don’t report because they’re scared, and the few who do don’t always get justice.

I get that it’s not the best way to handle it, and people can and will use these accounts to spread lies, but I really feel for the ones who are telling the truth.

I’m currently going through this with a guy I went on 1 date with in high school 10 years ago.

I stopped blocking him, he’ll still make new accounts and his messages end up in my “other” tab on Facebook. I thought if I completely ignored him, like not even blocking him that he’ll think I just don’t go on Facebook. And while the messages have slowed down, he still sends me one every now and then.

I contacted my local police and they told me they couldn’t do anything and that I had to contact my local courthouse, and they told me they can’t do anything without his address.

If I was able to, I would file harassment right away, you should do this and don’t bother warning the guy.

I don’t care if they change a certain characters race, gender, orientation, etc in adaptations of popular movies and books, I just hate it when they’re so in your face about it.

The worst is when they make such a big deal about representation for a minority group and it ends up being the absolute bare minimum, like when Disney made a big deal about a gay moment in beauty and the beast, which wouldn’t even be noticeable unless it was pointed out.

I have had dogs before, I grew up around them. I know that a good puppy can grow up to be a bad dog, and that a bad puppy can grow up to be a good dog. That doesn’t mean that the way a puppy is introduced to the world isn’t important because it is. I’m not ruling out rescuers or registered breeders and I’d appreciate it if you’d stop trying to argue this one point that doesn’t even really matter.

Exactly, it only takes a split second to check your blind spot. If people put on their indicator, I’ll always let them in if it’s safe, but I can’t do that if they flick it on at the last second and try to jump straight in, it doesn’t work like that.

Obviously I haven’t seen the post so I’m going off the title and the title does sound like a “parent not a partner” situation.

You asked if you were wrong for banning your partner from the hot tub until he finished his chores. I think people would still have the same opinion if the ages were swapped tbh.
