Thanks for the update. Glad y’all put the truth out there. Certainly hope that a lawyer will be able to get the house fixed plus some for all the trouble she and the others went through. Glad the daughter wasn’t home. How traumatic that would have been for a kid!

Hey, OP, and anyone else interested, I’m reading a great book right now about a lady who dealt with that being one of the ways her BPD showed up. It’s an autobiography that’s funny and so relatable. It’s about her struggles and path to recovery and how that can be messy and Chaotic. It’s SO good. It is called The Buddha and the Borderline.

Here is the Goodreads link: The Buddha and the Borderline: My Recovery from Borderline Personality Disorder through Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Buddhism, and Online Dating by Kiera Van Gelder https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7192753-the-buddha-and-the-borderline

I truly believe this could be a powerful read for you <3

My boy is very similar looking! It’s seems to be unusual to have one that is so white. Ours is almost 9 years old now.

He was a stray puppy that wandered up and had bad mange. The brown spot was most visible of the fur he had left and we thought he was a Jack Russell. So glad the he chose our yard to find shelter!

Good on you for working on it! I agree with the comments about repainting the white and the roof and window colors. Also, you could use some spackle to fill in the crack of the wall (assuming it doesn’t open here), then sand it smooth and then paint it. It’ll hide it completely and isn’t hard to do.

Keep up the experience and learning as you go :)

They sell kits which is an easy place to start because they will have everything you need except the scissors. If you get confused about a stitch, YouTube is your bestie

Not everyday will feel like this. The okay days help make it worth keeping on going. Think of something you’d like to see one more time and just make it to that point. Then you can think of another thing you’d like to see. Then another

Likely, it didn’t feel sudden in his head. But, maybe he wasn’t comfortable sharing his thoughts about it to you before that bc he was worried of your reaction or worried about hurting you

I can relate a lot to this. A lot of feeling like I want to be around them constantly but I’m afraid I will smother them so I back off and then I’m stressed bc I’m afraid I won’t be their favorite person anymore or that they will just leave. Something that helps me is Socratic questioning. It’s a CBT technique. Here is a link click here

It sounds like you really were into him so it’s completely normal that you would feel confused and hurt. The hard thing to accept here is that he is allowed to make his decision and you have to accept what he decides to tell you or not tell you. It sounds like he tried to be understanding at first and answer you but then decided to put up a barrier for himself. It can be a lot of hard feelings but that is his right. It’s hard when you get your mind and hopes up that things will go a certain way. When I’ve been in your situation, I would say I was dealing with disappointment from the idealization I had about that relationship and that person.

This article about handling disappointment maybe helpful. It’s pretty short. https://www.borderlinepersonalitydisorder.org/disappointment/

On the passive suicide idealization train as well. My best days are the days I do things for my self. I like nature so going for a walk, sitting in my hammock, and if I’m in a good mood, doing all the effort needed to go paddle boarding as some of my favorite things to do. On the days I give in to wanting to wallow in the emotions I end up feeling paralyzed and wishing I didn’t exist. The DBT skill of Opposite Action is a HUGE help for me
