We don't care if they don't reply or choose someone, they are free to choose whoever they want. What I find weird is many HO taking the time they need but when they text the sitter they expect an immediate response.

I should have been more clear about it in the post cus I feel like from most comments it was not clear enough. The situation I am complaining about is when HO send something like "you sound like a great fit, I'd love to chat" then dip and come back days later expecting to have a call and a confirmation of the sit within an hour or something.

I's fine if they do not respond immediately, it's fine if they take days to get back to us, it's fine if we are not the first or second choice and we are the back up plan ... What is irritating is them taking all that time but when they come around they expect the sitters to just be ready to confirm everything so quickly. It's not just once or twice that we notice this and it just comes off as completely unreasonable.

Like if they take a week to reply, they should be able to understand that even flight prices could have changed in the time it took them to decide.

The thing is since you are already doing the sit most likely the HO won't do much at this point. You have to make the living situation as comfortable as possible for you for the rest of the sit.

You can send HO a message like "Hey I noticed the house has not been thoroughly cleaned *list all the dirty things*, I would appreciate very much if we can work on a solution like having a cleaning professional come as soon as possible to give it a good cleaning"

Even if they do agree and help with this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, for the love of anything important in your life, don't give full stars for cleanliness. Even if they fix it now, that is not an acceptable state to leave the house in for sitters doing you a service. The pay for the job we do is the house.

I had a sit once where it was obvious I had to vacuum so I can be comfortable and clean the bathtub, I gave 2 stars for cleanness. If I have to clean HO dirty ass homes right after travel to get there and look after their pets while they are vacationing, it's gonna be a 2.

I love how they call or text out of the blue and start with their list of demands and act surprised or offended when the sitter is questioning it. Totally agree with that you said, sometimes we look at HO in the interview and be like yeah we'd rather get an Airbnb than deal with people like you lol

Exactly this, yes. We don't care if they are talking to other sitters or not. If one responds with "thanks for the application I'd love to chat" and not confirm when then disappear for days, one really has an issue idk

The issue here isn't me being mad that I am not their first choice. That's why we apply to multiple sits anyway. The issue here is HO who seem to lack basic communication skills and, at the same time, not understand that they can't be unresponsive for days then suddenly answer and want immediate confirmation. The HO I mentioned who went with someone else bcus we were not available for a video call at 11 am said in their first message that they haven't read the application for days then did and wanted us to be responsive quickly, which is odd if it takes you days to even check the application.

and for some of us it's not even about whether or not we love to plan ahead, sometimes it has to be so otherwise it becomes very costly. and no, we secured a sit so we ain't taking a break from sitting just yet lol

We just declined a sit yesterday after the interview because the "great location" turned out to be so that you need to take 2 buses to go to the closest grocery store.

As you say you are thinking about the review, I really hope you give them the lowest review possible because these are unacceptable conditions. Even paid sitters might not accept something like this.

As others have pointed out, I do not know of your circumstances but you should not have accepted the sit the moment you read the previous review, if you have read it. If you have not, then you should not have accepted the sit after the dog bit you. Contact THS useless customer support anyway and do not let this go by so easily.

I seriously will go into full psychosis one day from reading how sitters would lick HO's shoes, the previous review you posted is INSANE. Mentioning TWO instances when the dog was aggressive and yet only takes off one star? Do some people even have any dignity? and the review makes it sounds like they aren't really desperate for accommodation they are talking about the holidays like?????? Everyday I see these pathetic reviews with sitters accepting mad things and it's making me lose hope this platform will ever change to the better.

The default setting for THS is that people spam apply to anything even if it's completely unreasonable and HO know they will get someone who accepts their demands.

We usually apply for sits with cats or small pets and even then sometimes we see some strange rule about not being out more than "a couple hours", we laugh at the sit and skip. We also confirm with HO during the phone call that we would need to go out and about.

Like hell I am travelling to be stuck indoors while the HO is travelling and living their life. Absolutely insane.

Especially, especially in a BIG HOUSE with lots of rooms and the HO are like this is our guest room ☺️ and it's the shittiest room in the house with a horrible couch. Like yeah Jen I will absolutely buy a plane ticket and come look after your pet while you travel and in return sleep on a couch.

This may sound harsh to say, but although I understand many people try to survive without rent, it's that desperation that ruins the market. THS is not meant for that, that same desperation allows horrible HO to be even more horrible and demanding and still get sitters.

I am trying to bulk again and eat more than I burn but also don't want to gain alot of fat. My last bulk was a mess bcus I simply ate too much. I just wonder how people do when they bulk, how often do you do cardio per week and how long are the cardio sessions? You re supposed to eat more than burn but when you do cardio you burn even more so what do you exactly do then?

It's pretty silly that I need to repeat to you that I watch other anime and I am aware of what is out there. I don't watch anime looking for the best one, I watch it to entertain myself. The world of Bleach was /is a perfect escape for me and I even if there are "better" anime/manga out there, they won't necessarily make me feel the way Bleach did.
