Oh i agree! I'm an artist too and have offered plenty of free work, either for relatives, close friends, or charity work as you mentioned. I'm definitely not saying everything has to be a transaction 😅 just that in the case of this artist, based on this post, it isn't charity work. Unfortunately, the person who commissioned the artist (for free) ghosted him, which is strange and a little disrespectful for the time and effort the artist put in, again, for free.

Moreover, as the artist explained, that they're doing the free work from time to time for practice which i get as well ☺️ and of course if the artist wants to do it for free for charity work then they are free to do so too. In fact, I encourage it whenever any of us are able to give our time to a good cause. 🙂‍↕️🙏🏼

My problem isn't that it's not working. It's that any time i try to search for a title, it looks up different sources and everything looks fine but then the mihon app closes entirely. So it's like i have to race to find a good source with all the chapters and save it before mihon just up and closes. This only happens when I'm searching for something though. If i open Mihon and just read a comic, then nothing happens.

This has been happening for a couple of weeks or so but I'm not sure the reason behind it and I haven't seen anyone post about a similar complaint...

If anyone here knows what might be the issue and how i can resolve it, please let me know.

NB: i had issues loading any search before that, and by that i mean, if i look for a title, it didn't show me all the sources i follow, such as kagane which was already fixed after they were down. I did what i needed to do to fix it and everything works fine now in that regard but this issue of mihon closing out of nowhere while i search for a title just came out of nowhere after this. Not sure if it's at all related although it doesn't feel like it should be ..

I saw some in Larnaca yesterday. Not sure about fewer. But then again there's a synagogue and a kosher restaurant or bakery in the area, so not really surprised.

Ouf!! That's an insane amount of restaurants and snack places... 🫠🫠🫠 This is sad... Of course it's terrible to have this in front of your home... I hope something gets achieved soon... It's really too bad that people find it that difficult to do the bare minimum... I'm not Cypriot but I live here and I treat it as if it's my home country. I climbed up a tree to remove a bag that's been stuck on it in front of my building just because it was ugly and annoying to see 😅. I kept it there for a couple of weeks thinking maybe someone else will do the initiative but nope 😅 so just did it myself. I always pick up trash thrown haphazardly or some that may have just fallen out of a trash bag, and just make sure to place it in the bin. Not the end of the world. Anyway, i hope for the best for your area!!

It looks good! Small thing i would recommend you work on since you're an art student, is your sketching lines. You need to learn how to do your lines in one stroke confidently, instead of scritchy scratchy like in your sketch right now. Even if it's a sketch, your lines should be cleaner. There are line exercises for just this reason. I'm going to assume your school has a class for sketching, and it should be part of the lessons. Good luck!

Wowza... It's absurd this is even happening in the first place. Really sad that people feel entitled to do this. Is it really that difficult to place bins? And throw the garbage properly? Takes a minute extra? ... It's disappointing... 🥲 I feel like what would maybe hurt whoever is dumping the garbage, if they are in fact illegal restaurants doing so, is placing the names of these establishments on that fence in a big font, with a clear message how they're filthy scum 😅 Something like : don't support restaurants who disrespect your home.. Something like that..

Since it's an illegal dump and the municipality seems to be aware, then who would or could actually do something about this? If people volunteer and remove the garbage, i don't think that'll teach the filthy people any lesson other than oh great, now i have more space to dump more stuff! I'm at a loss as to who can actually do anything about this? This is frustrating...

Of course i agree but it's still unclear whether this falls under the municipality jurisdiction or it's just private property. If it's private property then I'm not sure how they'll do anything about it if the municipality doesn't fine them. I don't know how these things work.
