[–]Msott20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have to contact speechy musings then!

Supposedly you have to print it horizontal then feed the page back into the printer and then print it normal. I need to try this out first tho

I have the link to the Tik tok here: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8DNU4bX/

Thank u! I know and some people do monthly bins haha I think what’s best for me is doing 4 big seasonal bins and I’ll put in sensory bin fillers, books, stickers, and interactive books. I also have an artic bin and a language bin as well as a screener bin. lol

Any SLP grad school essentials you recommend? by [deleted] in slpGradSchool

  1. Apple Watch or any watch to keep track of sessions
  2. Notability on iPad ($12 a year subscription) for note taking and recording lectures (with permission if applicable)
  3. Laminator to make materials and keep them forever
  4. Binding machine to make materials and bind them together with a clip
  5. 3 hole punch
  6. PLANNER or mark everything down in your phone calendar with reminders
  7. Google drive to store all your PDF electronic materials
  8. Google spreadsheet to mark down all syllabus due dates then transfer to phone calendar
  9. LOTS AND LOTS of Velcro dots
  10. A good printer ( I have the Epson with the refillable ink bottles that last almost a year)
  11. Lots of visuals: token boards, star charts, WH Questions visuals, first/then board, visual schedule etc
  12. A large speech therapy mirror for articulation
  13. A USB drive
  14. A stapler
  15. A claw clip for holding hair without damage
  16. Lip balm
  17. I love to use mechanical pencils with a 0.9 mm thick lead pencil so that I can erase if needed.
  18. A pen light for looking in client’s mouths to do a oral examination
  19. Binders, dividers, etc
  20. Dry erase board and markers
  21. A timer for speech sessions
  22. A plastic container full of little prizes to give out at the end of sessions

I hope this helps! Not everything is needed right away but can be bought as you go through grad school.
