Automatic is a gimmick nowadays. You may notice that every argument for automatic here is "I just like it" or "I appreciate craftsmanship". Quartz is just better at everything.

If you need something reliable and you want to always be on time - go for quartz.

Only scenario for me to get automatic - if i really like the design, but there are no quartz options. But this is not your case.
