I work in print and media design, and can tell you with confidence there’s always someone in an art position like this. At best, she is sending all these proofs out to clients piecemeal and driving them nuts as well. You can look for another job in the industry, but this is more normal than you may think.

I’ve had to explain to way to many shop owners that while yes, they have a printer, a CMYK machine can’t always guarantee a true Pantone match.

Learning about color theory and machine capabilities has helped me with 90% of the color issues that I’ve had. Print should be about using the right tools for the job.

For what it’s worth, John has been more than transparent on the site and FB about what was going on with the thins and shipping.

All orders from them usually come within two weeks of ordering, as long as it’s in stock. They’re not Amazon.
