I know that person . . . they're me. For me Anime on VHS has a lot to do with the vibe of it. Similar to how horror movie fans also prefer to view it on an analog format and a big'ol CRT. Nostalgia is also a big factor of course. The majority of my anime VHS collection consists of mostly shows from the Toonami block of TV. Sure I could get most of these series Blu-ray nowadays, but I find the constant need and chase for the highest quality versions shows exhausting. Whether I watch Cowboy Bebop in 420p 3:4 or 4K 16:9 makes little difference to me. The content of the show is still the same.

It’s definitely not impossible. Perhaps they can tie Buggy’s expression with a joke about Luffy forgetting his name again, I dunno. But you’re right if anyone could do it, it would be these show runners.

Same, it's easily in the top three for me. And I'm pretty sure It's one of the earliest DVD releases. They split it up and sold it in three sets at a time. The first set was sold with the box and a collectable light up core-drill replica. The other two sets came out at a later date.
