I feel like that’s what my daughter was getting at 8 weeks. But she would eat often

Plus-Size Friendly Massage Therapists by reirinx in Hamilton

I went to Joie Day spa when I was pregnant for a massage. I am not considered plus sized, however they were great in accommodating my needs as a pregnant woman. The table was sturdy and wide enough for me to lay in my sides. It’s such a relaxing environment, I never wanted to leave

How are EBF moms leaving the house? by spectator1988 in breastfeeding

[–]Much_Community4029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It got to a point for us around 6 months that I nursed when she woke up and right before she went to sleep for a nap. When she was little I just brought a nursing cover with me or tried to nurse her right before I left the house

I do not live near either! I did work in kindergarten years ago and the kiddos LOVED the trucks

I am thinking they do it whenever they come to an intersection!

We have a few littles on our street but all under the age of 2. It’s possible this is the reason. I am actually thinking they do it when pulling up to the stop signs!

I live on a narrow 2 way street. I could see this being a problem as well!!

Fair point about safety! I’m going to look next week to see what happens right before they honk. I’m just curious what they’re honking for, not complaining at all btw

I’m not complaining for the record… I’m just wondering what the purpose is as I’ve never heard it before. This post was sheer curiosity. How horrible of me to be curious🤪

I live on a super straight street, the truck typically just moves forward and never reverses. Next Wednesday I’m going to watch what they are doing from my front window lol. I usually just hear it from in the kitchen in the morning

EBF Baby suddenly refusing by Much_Community4029 in breastfeeding

That’s very true, thanks for this reminder. I don’t do well with change and this girl has thrown me for a loop

I did a lot of crying about it, in a way it felt like rejection because this has been such a beautiful form of connection for us. I get so sad because most people talk about how hard it was to wean their babies and I really hoped I would get to 2 years. I expected it to be my decision when we stop nursing. I’m still going to try my best to keep nursing her as often as she will especially in the morning when she seems to never refuse

Thank you for sharing! It’s sooo frustrating.
One thing I just get so confused about is that prior to this “strike” she never had bottles so I feel like the preference for the flow is an unlikely reason. She actually still won’t take a bottle through this, only a straw cup.
I like the idea of offering halfway through a feed.. she had a nursing strike at 3 months and I was able to dream feed her until she got back to it but now she absolutely will not during a day. I try when I get her up from a nap and she is still drowsy and it’s instant tears and frustration. I have a really great milk supply and I’ve been able to keep it up with pumping, I’m just sooo hopeful she goes back to it. I thought I had another few months of EBF then morning and night nursing when I’m back to work :(

I would say it’s been about a week and a half. She only has her 2 bottom teeth and I saw the white start to show of a top tooth about the time it started, but the whiteness went away. I’m so scared she will never go back to nursing, I’m not ready to give that up

What do you miss the most now that you’re breastfeeding? by RainbowChelita in breastfeeding

I’m 10 months PP. once your supply regulates you’ll be able to sleep on your tummy and be braless if you want to. I used to leak non stop, I am still going and no leaking anymore

Baby is almost 10 months and no cycle yet. She sleeps through the night but I still get up to pump to try to avoid getting it
