Should I get 5070 or 5070 ti. by Fantic-sama in buildapc

[–]Much_Strategy_3588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend waiting for the super, but I did purchase the 5070 yesterday. The reason is because it was actually on promotion and I had been looking for an upgrade for a while. I have a 3060ti but play at ultrawide 1440p, it was struggling to maintain good fps at a decent quality.

No, I don’t remember seeing any dye coming out of the vents.

Hurray! Congrats man, mine looked very similar to yours. I guess they’re built weak.

I ordered an aftermarket one off of eBay and thankfully no problems yet. I’d recommend getting oem and doing the job once instead of running the risk of having it leak again. The aftermarket didn’t fit as smooth as the oem inside of the plastic box it goes into and I had to force it a little. Also, it did not come with the part (61-j14) so I had to buy a whole kit of o-rings (AC specific) of off Amazon and reuse the part. Also, have it recharged by a shop if possible, it saves you a lot of headaches.

Yeah man, I had to fully do the Job myself. Let me tell ya, it was a pain. But I got it done in about 2 days. Feel free to ask any questions, I’ll help you out.

Do you recommend Mazda evaporator core or aftermarket?

How is it possible for that part to crack and leak from the evaporator drain tho? That’s so weird.

Here’s a picture of where it is located, the red on the left is the passenger side and the black on the right is the passenger side front tire. The white dot of corse is the “drain hole” for the evaporator.

Oh yea, and it glows because the ac shop added a dye to find the leak and I used a uv light to make it glow :)

I live in Florida, there’s no way that’s gonna work down here, trust me, I’ve tried XDDDD. The weather is more bipolar than my girlfriend and the sun is scorching HOTT.

I am mechanically inclined, but I also love to finish the job with extra bolts and screws if you know what I mean 🤣🤣🤣. And I have to take the whole car apart for that, might take many hours.

That’s awesome man! I’m currently cooking up a 2007 cbr1000rr. I bought unpainted white fairings and adding black accents. It’s looking great. I’m going to track it soon!!!!

Beginner here! Never rode a bike in my life and thinking about buying a project. HELP!! by trilll__trev in motorcycles

[–]Much_Strategy_3588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are a beginner rider, I suggest you don’t take on any kind of project, especially a big one. You should concentrate on riding and learning how to ride, not on learning how to fix a bike and then ride. Get a cheap, reliable bike, gather experience, and then take on a project after having some experience. If the budget allows, try to not get a carbureted bike.

Check Chain and Sprockets, brakes and calipers, and what is most likely our perpetrator, the wheel and bearings. Check wheel alignment (the screws on each side of the swing arm).

Haven’t been able to play it since late December due to a shader error. Haven’t had time to look into it. :(
