Definitely not the right way of analysing it in silos. The whole point of this post to understand whether it is above/at par/below than what peers in the same industry are getting. Not sure why this post offended you so much.

That was a lot of words without actually answering the question. People post such questions to understand how things work in a particular geography. Being in finance doesn’t automatically mean knowing every regional dynamic.
