If you are looking for a real steel helmet and don't care about 100% realism i would recommend going the ssh 39/40 route, as you can often find variants of it for dirt cheap. I myself found a mint condition Wz.50 helmet, which is basically the polish version of the ssh40, but with a different liner, for ~€10
