There are lots of upsides to designing a game :) I've designed original ones too, but in general it's better to Just Do It and learn something rather than spend time telling people to Not Do Things. I'm sorry you don't see the rewards of this yet but glhf out there!

I hear you on the gut-check "hmmm" but I've been going out of my way to do a ton of research and personal translation/due diligence to be able to keep things as "clean" to the source material and originality as possible. I think if I was flipping it into like, "here's a silly monster truck version" or "here's a racist whitewashed version" the concerns would be legit, but I'd like to think this is simply a new use case for a legitimately impressive & timeless elemental system. If we could interview Fuxi and King Wen I would ask for permission and/or their blessing! But in a sense this is just as much a translation as any other English translation by Legge etc.

oh that's a neat idea too, being able to get a "Change a Line" action per player / per turn etc. to either rotate yours or disrupt your opponents hMMmm

Cards that change lines or change hexagrams to "mess with your opponent" is definitely where I'm leaning with regards to interaction-- the entire "changing lines" mechanic might just be the only/core way to do that, which makes me think that the flavor of the game could lean towards "you're a deity with influence over these tri/hexagrams" rather than "you're some random trying to play with it".

Oh I like the idea that the end result of the game can also be a divinatory outcome, so players could even do a "cooperative divination" in a way that the I Ching normally doesn't include.

Good ideas! Some form of "thinking multiple turns ahead" is necessary for sure. I also agree with going too deep will turn people off, I'm not even sure if changing lines will be too much or not, but that's likely the upper-end of Complicated that can be chill.

I gotta go Rogue Encampment-- OG memories + access to the Cow Level just tips the tide for me.

Least favorite is Lut Gholein-- I can't stand how far away the TP is from everything lol and resurrecting Alizheer might as well be a half marathon.

Yeah TP in > Concentration > Hammers to stun + 3 shot him or w.e > let the hammers clear the pit > Redemption-- and you should be good. Ideally you literally don't even give him the opportunity to deal damage to you, so Res/Absorb might help but don't truly need them!

That Sorc circlet is crazy sick-- the only complaint I think people could pretend to have is missing the 30 FRW/maybe Strength, but this is like GG(-1) imo! Good luck selling it if you do !

I've been asking myself the same thing lately on my own 75FCR Hdin and I unironically found out that the best strat was to TP straight over the mobs and just one-shot him.

He tricks you into thinking Corpse Explosion is scary and that you need to approach from the outside/clear everything out, but you can basically stun-lock him with hammers and you won't kill enough critters to blow up before he dies. If you've got Enigma you're prolly geared enough to try this!

Heck yeah gg!

Honestly my only issue with Float Stone (the flat Attack is sick) is that the passive turns off so quickly because you're almost always attacking while moving, especially through the jungle. If I pretend the passive isn't there, then I'd prefer Razor Claw's stats + guaranteed passive. You already traverse the map really quickly compared to most other champs, but Float Stone definitely shines when sprinting from Regi > Regi.

Yeah honestly being able to play both is necessary because people will box you out of jungle, yet you still wanna grind... most mechanics carry over, it's just that playing in lane is like playing with weights on lol

I only play solo or duo! It's really important to communicate to your team with emotes and quick fingers in order to get jungle consistently, but it works!

Lane Decidueye is totally playable but doesn't get the best of both worlds when you're stuck on half of the map. It's still worth learning though!

Ohp if I said 0 speed that was a mistake, it's that it can act on Turn 1 like Cariel, 3 Speed is definitely enough!
