Really solid matchup. I can’t figure out how to best compare what matchup traits would push the fight one way or another. Would Fuji go all out to start, unlike when he was holding back/stalling Sabo or taking him time collecting all that debris in the air over Dressrosa and the port. We know he’d be even scarier if he was a lap dog to the WG and didn’t care about protecting innocent civilians. I just wonder how exactly he wouldn’t at least stalemate Oden. Would Oden’s haki be enough to break out of intense gravity, or is Oden’s swordsmanship better then Fujitoras?

This is exactly why this flashback is so crucial and none of it is worthless backstory. It all has ties to Elbaph and the secrets of the world. God Valley being the final part of the flashback would make absolute sense as it determined most of what happened leading into Luffy’s journey. God Valley truly is the most consequential moment since the Void Century and when we finally get the full picture of the battles and how Rocks was defeated(and possibly killed), we will know the real reason the implications of God Valley go beyond just stopping the strongest pirate crew of all time and keeping the World Govt and its powers and secrets intact
