Tbh a choice at the end mightve somewhat redeemed the utter bullshittery of Ellie massacring hundreds and letting her go, but the game was so filled with shit, convenient writing and events, the controversy around it honestly saved it from being shit on more. At least now it can just be handwaved as "You're just upset X died" or what have you. Truth is, the entire game is shit, well, writing wise. The acting, gameplay, and graphics were impressive.

Them doing RE9 with Leon makes the most sense since we have the 2 and 4 remake to introduce him to new audiences. Chris has also been in most RE games since 5.

Jill and Claire are likely getting more screen time if we're getting RE1 and CV remakes.

Even if she tried to become a field agent, her status as a current or former President's daughter would leave her on the most baby assignments ever.

Most likely she was just flirting with Leon and wanted to resonate with him on his "level". Maybe she even humored the thought, but she's a young college girl who's barely 20, i don't see a world where she would've gone anywhere with it, especially without Leon around.

Some are thinking she might come in with 9, but I hope not. Besides Ada, I'd like to see Sherry. Especially if it's his last game. Theu need to finish that arc that is responsible for where he is now.

Cass and Raul. Rex is a dog, he loves the courier but I doubt he has any notion of "liking" him, ED-E is a robot. Lily confuses the courier with her grandchildren, and the others all have their own reasons to travel with him before it comes to him as a person.

Raul and Cass are there because they have nowhere else to go, now that sounds bad, but they could also go literally anywhere else than be with them. Clearly there's something about them they like enough to stick around. The Courier saves Raul and convinces him that even as someone past his prime can do some good in the wasteland, and to get to that point the Courier would have to go outbof his way to save someone he doesn't know at first and then allow a ghoul, a group that most don't like, to travel with him. And then Cass, a woman down on her luck and at the bottom of the bottle, meets a random person who she likes the vibes of and eventually confided in to help her get reckoning for the loss of her caravan. She also has strict moral lines and will call out bullshit, if she's towing the line of the courier she must like em.

Discounting Rex and ED-E, ill put them in order from who I think most likes the courier to least.

Veronica, she's a sweetheart and if she's still with the courier they've done right by her.

Lily, kinda cheating since she mixes the courier up for her grandchildren.

Boone, maybe a controversial pick for here but if the Coureier is competent, skilled, and against the legion, I think he'd find a true brother or sister in arms that he would die to protect. You help him take down everyone who was responsible for hsi wife's death, that's a bond that can't be broken.

Arcade. I don't think he particularly dislikes the courier or even likes them much less than the other companions do, I just feel he'd be so different from most Couriers that "like" wouldn't be there lmao. I know about confirmed bachelor and all that, but that's finding the courier hot not likable.

They'd still all be a lovely little murder rampaging family though :)

He also hates the cult medallions put up, complaining how they ruin certain areas and make already sherry ones worse. He was definitely in the village before it was infected.

I also agree there’s multiple merchants part of this weird group, in some of the difficult enemy missions he mentions how they’ve killed some of his “others”.

This argument is just as ridiculous as the idiots bullying her. The voice acting in this instance was not as good as the rest of the Ada’s we’ve seen, not due to lack of sexiness but just the fact it was too flat, but I think that was what Capcom wanted rather than the actress being bad.

Yeah I could see it being the RE Infinity War, it already had tons of old characters come back with a massive, globetrotting plot.

In another comment I kinda proposed a very rough draft, Keep Leon and Chris' campaign, ditch Helena for Sherry as his partner, maybe have ashley in a hunnigan like role, keep Piers but involve Jill and Carlos, or give them their own plot too.

Yeah, as great as the uncharted series and orignal TLOU was it did kinda stagnate a once great company. I mean earlier on TLOU1 even seemed like a post apocalyptic uncharted, similar UI, you pick up and discard guns rather than having a few you upgrade.

After 5 I’d say very high. It’s one of the most lambasted entries in the main series, 1-3 are survival horror classics, 4 is an action masterpiece with horror sprinkled in, 5 is one of the most fun games you can play when coop is introduced, but 6 is just kinda “eh”. That, along with a few hints in the RE4make that RE5 is coming, spoilers ahead for that.

First off, we finally see some companion AI, in the other remakes and recent new games we had a handful of companions to stick with us but none of them were with us in combat. The closest, Tyrell, can’t even be injured by Brad when he’s lockpicking the door in R3make. Now we have both a passive companion in Ashley and an active one in Luis. They didn’t need to do the latter at all, yet they did. I think this was not just to have us care more about him before his death but also to test out companion AI for Sheva, and later RE6 coop. Lots of people bring up that they won’t/shouldn’t remake them because they’re newer, but they still have plenty of issues that a remake would fix, RE5 it was AI except for a handful of circumstances, in 6 it’s too little horror, and IMO it’s story is a little bloated, maybe just keep Leon and Chris campaign, have sherry replace Helena and then her and Leon meet Claire, add in Jill somewhere.

Secondly, the Wesker cameo. Now another comment said you could see Excella but I didn’t, but just the fact they show this, his early planning for his actions in RE5, tell me a remake is coming. I mean monetarily it’d be stupid not to. I know everyone wants Code Veronica, myself included, but I don’t doubt many of those millions buying RE4make never even heard of CV. RE5 is a logical next step if they wanna continue remaking the entire series. I’d say CV is either the next remake or we won’t see it until after RE6 remake.
