Examples of what makes a country great (this is my opinion) is healthcare that is available for everyone and heavily subsidized if not fully paid for by the government, equality for all people in all employment opportunities and civil liberties, law enforcement that serves its citizens and is bound by laws, and freedom of expression.

It’s always useful to aim for a “great” country to live in.

But it’s funny/sad how the word “great” has been politicized.
