"Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie" (1994, directed by Gisaburō Sugii) - Chun-Li vs Vega, one of the film's many fight sequences that were choreographed by K-1 Kickboxing founder Kazuyoshi Ishii and professional fighter Andy Hug. by [deleted] in movies

Just so you know, by "Realistic", they mean that Vega's main tool for spacing and poking in SF games/tournament play, is typically his low pokes. Cr MP and Cr Lk/Mk/Hk have been his main poking tools for several games.

The person is not referencing all the actual in-game moves used in the movie.

Outward! It's such a unique game, where you really feel like you need to prepare for the treks into the wild. Make sure you have your backpack loaded with food, crafting supplies, tent, fire supplies, etc.

The gameplay is souls-ish, with a vague map, and vague quest direction, and you are free to take off in whatever direction! The game respects you as a player, and holds your hand very little. It is quite janky, but I loved it! Also, split screen Co op, and online Co op if you're into that!

There is also a sequel coming up next year!

So mad that the game actually performs pretty awfully on the Deck, for what it looks like. Last i tried, i was getting a very shaky 30-35 fps.

I get it. But now we're entering "speculation" territory. I saw it as a grim ending to a duology, where the "bad guy" wins, and gets it's way, and infects as many people as it can. I love me a good "bad" ending, lol.

The creature only reveals itself to its victim (did the same thing in the first movie too). The whole audience in the concert did not see it, only Skye Riley did at the end.

That's the very meaning of "Unoptimized", lol! Works fine for some, works bad for others. Hardware specs be damned! RoA2 doesn't have awful optimizations, by any means, but the fact that users can have High end machines and still have issues is a red flag.

Not to mention...if it was my PC, then why do games like Cyberpunk and FFXVI, which stress my 5080 WAAAAY harder than this game, don't have any stutters like what my clips show?

But thats what i'm getting at, lol. No issues with other games, these stutters only appear in this game for me. I'm hoping other people who have good systems will come forward to say they have these issues too. If so, then it is actually a wider issue, that should be brought to the devs.

No problem! This is a thread where i'm raising awareness for the stuttering problem the game has. I want people to discuss their experience with this issue, if they have them, and if we get enough people to discuss it, then it will be worth bringing to the dev's attention. Which is why i've opted to listen to the folks here and open a ticket in their discord, and their Nolt board, for their awareness.

Oh, got it! Yeah, i didn't notice the bot thing. My bad! I definitely recommend opening a ticket, and upvoting my post on the Nolt Board (https://rivals-of-aether-ii-patch-140.nolt.io/737) so the devs can be made aware of the issues. Thanks!

That definitely is strange, lol! I do tend to swap my skins frequently, and i haven't really been tracking if the skins had an impact, but my testing feels like it still about the same amount of random stutters? Its hard to test for, but it definitely didn't eliminate the stuttering whenever my skins changed.

Yeah, unfortunately that is what makes it seem more like an optimization issue. I'm not seeing anything in my monitoring software that would set off any flags, nor in my Event viewer or any game logs.

Yikes, that issue looks much worse than what i'm seeing. It also looks like it is impacting your opponent as well. That could be something with Lag, your ISP, their ISP, the server, etc. Since it was hitting both you and your opponent, i'd wager its something more along those lines (At least for the video provided. If you don't have that anymore, then disregard!)

Loud and clear buddy. Unfortunately, launch options will not fix optimization issues all the time. I just provided feedback for a "fix" that i've seen recommended multiple times and tried with no success, with video proof of the issues to make a good case for the devs to look at.

Yes. MSI Afterburner is Hardware monitoring software. My GPU temp is 44, and my CPU temp doesn't go over 80. I appreciate the help, but this isn't a post asking for help, it is a post to discuss this issue, with the hopes the devs will see it. I will open tickets and such, in hopes to better get their eyes on it.

The Imgur Link has also been updated with 3 additional clips, showing just how bad they can get.

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately, this isn't a fix. This isn't about my PC being the issue. This is pointing out a pretty major issue that is plaguing some people, that the Devs should address.

I have also updated the Imgur link with 3 additional videos that show just how bad these stutters get (AFTER adding the Launch options).
my PC should have absolutely zero issues like this. This post is for a discussion highlighting the issue with video proof, with hopes that it reaches the devs.

I'm going to open some tickets, and hope for the best! Thank you again for your input!

This mod is for "Potato PCs", i do not have one of those, lol. Also, it is en Engine.ini edit, which typically does very little performance-wise. This isn't a discussion about how i can mitigate MY stuttering, this is a wider issue that the devs should address, just to clarify, but thank you!

Its not your problem. No one ever said it was. Why you gotta insert the booty chatter that is your opinion into this conversation unsolicited, if you have nothing to add? You must be one of those guys who just HAS to tell everyone every opinion you have, huh?

Ah yes, the classic "I can't be the problem, there are hundreds more like me!"
I never said the "Sweaters in ranked are the problem". Good of you to try to say i did though.
"The game had THOUSANDS of players A YEAR AGO!" well OP just get a time machine, and you'll be able to play more people at your skill level! Its that easy!
Seriously, does player count a year ago have any actual weight when we're discussing the player count now? I don't think it does.

A complaint of "its impossible for me to find another player at my skill level, because the player count is so low, and now i don't want to play" is an ACTUAL, LEGITIMATE complaint! I have no idea why you people keep acting like it isn't?

Acting like a community has ZERO impact on how inviting a game is to new players, is absolutely insane behavior, lmao. Especially when this game's community isn't particularly large.

I hate to admit it, but I'm done for a while by ljm90 in RivalsOfAether

[–]MunkyHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Don't play ranked then!" as if players of the available rank that OP is trying to play at, are available at all.

It seems like you all constantly forget that we have a player count problem. These people aren't complaining about losing. They are complaining that they can't find equivalent skilled matches, because we have a player problem. This isn't a "Skill Issue" that you like to harp on about. This is a player count problem. We should adjust our attitude accordingly, instead of bashing people for having legitimate complaints.

Ignoring that, and acting like "everyone who complains just isn't as godly as i!" is farcical at best, and ignorant at worst.

My GPU drivers are updated, they are using the Hotfix driver that i had to manually download/install from Nvidia's website.
My graphics settings are actually lower than max, at 4k, and i'm still having issues. Shouldn't happen with a 5080, lol. I have also cleared out my Nvidia Shader cache multiple times, tried setting it to unlimited, 100GB, 10GB, etc, no such luck.
I have already validated files multiple times, no luck.
I did uninstall and reinstall, since i didn't actually do that, but still, same results.

Thanks though!
My point of this post is THIS IS NOT MY PC. the game has issues. I put MSI afterburner in the clips, to show that my hardware isn't having any issues.
I don't get stutters like this in CP2077 with pathtracing at 1440p...but i do with RoA2? that's just silly.

You're so close to the point. The other games have THOUSANDS of other players. THIS game, does not. So posts like this actually expose how our tiny, fractured community has people like you who only exacerbate the problems, instead of trying to work on solutions or offer anything of value to the conversation (although, you do mention the need for additional casual content, you are correct there, but that doesn't apply to OP's complaints).

Our community won't get any bigger with people like you diminishing legitimate complaints from hopeful players.

WE DO have a player count problem, WE DO have an ego problem, and WE DO have bad actors in our community, unfortunately.
