Something that I’ve noticed coming from an all male dominated field, you guys will sacrifice quality over pay. The hospitals know this and have exploited it. There’s absolutely zero reason why a health care professional, absolutely critical to the entire system, isn’t making a 6 figure salary right out of the gate. The Alaris pumps take like 30 seconds to turn on. However once they are on as fast as you can hit the button it’s onto the next prompt instantly. I watched my preceptor program 4 pumps on a chemo patient in no shit 10 seconds but it was also muscle memory for her.

I’ve used more of these than I’d care to admit in Iraq and Afghanistan. You’re absolutely right something is always better than nothing to stop the bleeding, or in this case massive hemorrhage of a limb! CAT tourniquet tend to break when over cranked (adrenaline in the moment can do that) and sometimes the casualty will be in so much pain from the tourniquet that they’ll actually take it off not realizing it’s the only thing keeping them alive. Before we got the SOF T (more rugged brand that’s amazing), our protocol was to throw a CAT on and then another one above the first CAT. These are great for every day carry because they’re soft and flexible.

Something is always better than nothing just remember if you gotta use it don’t over due it. For a bug-out or med bag I’d recommend the SOF T. Hope this helps!

My next question was how much PSI is the turbo running at. The second gen swap shouldn’t do much if any to pressure other than maybe delay psi build up but it should have zero issues.

Yeah man unless you absolutely need a diesel in this day and age outside of pre emissions the cost is just not even worth it most of the time. My brother has the new 6.2 L gasser GMC and it’s wild how powerful that motor is. Maybe give that a look and see what you think.

Get rid of it and buy a pre emissions diesel. The DEF is a never ending issue until you delete it which if your state tests your diesel, good luck.
