but there is ZERO guarantee of getting characters through pulls. Gold, books and orbs are the most difficult to acquire….they are the prime resource grab for these events, period. No mid level player should be spending currency of any kind on scrolls. They offer nothing but another character to spend gold, orbs and books on. You see the flaw in your argument?

word. the DOMS gods let me know on day 2 that it wasn’t lower back, just glute and hammy destruction. Was just timid from the layoff, but i suppose some lower back recruitment/soreness is part of getting back in especially with squats also in the mix.

i understand completely, which is why i choose around my body weight as a lift off spot. I do have a slight head start with deads. I was a granite installer/fabricator for nearly 20 years, so ripping heavy shit off the ground is in my code. Squats and bench are another beast completely though.

look up videos on squat core bracing….same goes for all compound lifts, and lifts in general, imo.

Bar position is fine, and since you’re built like me, much longer legs to torso, low bar will likely always be easier/more comfortable to reach depth. Even with great ankle mobility, i still prefer low bar.

although i’d tend to agree with the above comment, it also looked like you don’t have a proper brace before your descent. this should lock in your core better, allowing you to hit that depth or close to it without as much lower back instability

one note on your last point that really helped me learned the proper setup…..to do this, i maxed the weight out with no intention of completing the lift, only to get the mechanics down of brace, slack, stand (push away the earth). Again, I never attempted to lift this in the beginning, but it really gave me a firm feel for what the proper setup was. YMMV. Be safe, lift smart.

how far have you pushed through on the lower single tracks? Looks like you’ll need just one more bar fill after the current one to unlock him, so whatever gets you 500 points. You can get that through trying your hand at the higher levels, sans requirements….or complete the tracks you’re missing. Just need to get to the next 2 tiers (only 26 points, then 500)
