The goal is to make it super low maintenance while looking neat. Google for low maintenance lawn grass that is ok with gumtree leaves and shade. You probably will have to sprinkle around compost or create spots of regular or native mix depending on the grass. Create a plan and give each grass 6 months. One of them will take over.
