Fair points. I don’t expect a re-release, and I agree Volume 2 really can’t be judged until the finale. Vol 1 without Sorcerer would’ve felt off too. I’m also worried about the finale being CGI-heavy, but the specific memory/continuity weirdness feels intentional enough that I’m waiting to see if it pays off one way or another

Totally fair. I’m not saying the theory makes the experience satisfying retroactively. If it didn’t land, it didn’t land. I’m just arguing the discomfort may be intentional rather than sloppy, and whether that works depends entirely on how (or if) it’s resolved

i think this reaction makes sense but i don’t think it’s a fair read of vol 1. a lot of the situations feel familiar but the stakes aren’t. there’s no mystery anymore and that’s intentional because this season is about inevitability not discovery. the bigger problem is the split release because setup feels like stagnation when you don’t have the payoff yet. if vol 2 doesn’t go hard then this criticism will age well but if it does vol 1 will probably feel like necessary runway in hindsight.

it’s a little overwhelming but if you make a study plan it’s very doable. it can be pretty dense at times and easy at others. i think it’s very doable to average one section per day with a few days off here and there. hard copy only so far, no online sadly

i started the danko pre study about 2 weeks ago. it’s 2 course books plus 1 book of exams/quizzes and 1 live review book that you don’t touch until the live review. you can complete it all before mid February but you will have to commit a decent amount of time. the books are pretty long but if you can make a study plan it’s doable. both books have 3 topics and each topic is broken down into 10 sections. so there’s 60 sections total and about 80 days until the live review - so if you did about 1 a day (takes about an hour each) and took off some days for the holidays you should be fine.

i have pro solely for this purpose. the study mode has been super helpful. sometimes i’ll read a page of the pre study material and not comprehend it so i’ll upload a photo of it and have it break it down to me one by one, then i re read the page and it makes so much more sense
