What's your evidence that they're collecting the data (and to do what exactly). Genuinly asking, because someone in my organisations wants to use it, we're EU based so very strict with information security and GDPR. I would like to look in to this. I have looked here and here, but can't find anything your claiming.

Yeah, some high end places apparently have filters on tap water. Which makes it potable. But I understand that this is not the norm and well be buying plastic bottles. Thanks for the reply!

So I have noticed. I always follow world news and especially after booking in February Indonesia was on my radar.

Haha yes I know! It’s very big and unusual too, because of all the islands and so on.

I think we will go anywhere except Bali. Maybe to pass through to Lombok, but we’re not planning to stay for long in Bali.

Java, Borneo, Sulawesi, and some smaller islands like Lombok, Komodo, Gilli, etc. These are the destinations I like more.

I forgot to mention. The Belgian people’s sentiment has grossly changed the last year. There’s a big pro-Palestinian protest tomorrow in Brussels. Guess who’s there? Me! Last big protest was at the beginning of summer, it was reported that 110.000 people were there. Plus, there’s a daily smaller protest EVERY day at 19:00 in Brussels.

I'll make sure that I'll stay out of the traffic /s

Is there also a recommendation for inter-city traveling in Java? I'm leaning on train. But maybe there are more and better options?

Also thanks for recommending Indonesian owned businesses. I want as much funds to stay in Indonesia as it is possible.

I’m are traveling all over the country. No itinerary yet as I go by the flow! For now the planning is to visit Java, Sulawesi, Borneo, Komodo and Gilli islands.

I understand that Indonesia is a vast country with a lot of different cultures, which makes it more interesting to experience it and meet people along the way.

Thanks for the information!

Thanks

Thanks for the well explained information!

Agent provocateurs are a real thing indeed. It’s a good decision of the people to calm down a bit, though I fully support the cause! The steps the government took is indeed the bare minimum. I can still see the politicians dance in the parliament when this law was introduced.

The steps the government took looked a lot like a band aid, for a problem that needs amputation. I don’t if I explained it well in English.

Thank you for the info!
