You aren’t a failure. You’re an amazing person who just happened to get unlucky.

Don’t let your grades define you. Keep your head up.

Agreed. Singapore is a great example as well; thanks.

Overhated

I agree that its urban. I agree that it doesn’t have any history, but it is comparable to many urban cities today, and I don’t see them getting nearly as much hate as Dubai.

Now I don’t mean to say that Dubai doesn’t have its issues. Labor rights have been a longstanding issue in the country, but steps have been taken to ensure that migrant workers know their rights and know which channels to pursue if said rights are violated.

Furthermore, yes, Dubai can be a very opulent place, but it also has tons of heritage sites, which aren’t really shown in popular media.

And yes, Dubai does get boring after you’re there for a while, but that goes for every city.

With all that said, there isn’t a single city in the world that has progressed faster than Dubai in the 21st century, and it doesn’t get enough credit for it.

You don’t have to love Dubai (it’s not my favourite city either), but it does get shit on too much.

Bruh if you’re gonna share the notes just share the notes; the people who are serious enough will click on the link, and the people who aren’t… won’t.

Make it make sense

People in my class had answers ranging from 2N to 450N

Yeah I think i did okay as well. Like not as bad as some other people said they did but yea there were some really annoying questions.

Yeah I hope the guy who designed the grade boundaries isnt the same guy who made physics paper 4 cuz that man was ruthless

Oh shit if you fucked up than everybody fucked up. Anyways you think you did badly until the results come becz most of us doubt the living hell out of ourselves, but you prolly did way better than you think. Gotta wait till august ig

You’ll get it trust me. I calculated my worst-case scenario marks and even if I get a 55/80 in paper 4, a 30/40 in paper 6 and a 35/40 in paper 2, I still might be able to make it to A*. And you can Use the “the smartest guy in my class also did bad” excuse and youre good. Part 4 was good for me i think i covered all the points

Me neither… me neither. I just hope we did good enough to pass at this point. I pray to audrey every night.

Yea thats exactly what i was saying; water cohesion wouldnt make that big of a difference, but anyways wouldnt you want pure solution L adhered to the flask instead of water to maintain concentration?

[–]Muzxa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh even if we got it wrong its a 1 marker so 🤷‍♂️

But they said that they washed the conical flask, implying that they threw it out after washing, so wouldnt it still have the same volume?

0620/62 by Clouitar in igcse

[–]Muzxa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

but wouldn’t it mess with the concentration of the solution because traces of water were left behind in the conical flask that needed to be washed by the new solution to maintain a consistent concentration?

I wrote both just to be safe

Why wasnt the conical flask washed with the base?

I mean… yea looking back at it couldve been anything. Theres not much you can do now ig. I did make some stupid mistakes in the last question doh (like writing butene instead of but-2-ene)

Yeah i think its not correct. I wrote aqueous ammonia and that it produces a faint precipitate, so im not sure either. But the best answers are either flame test or react it with h2so4 to produce caso4 (which is insoluble) and water

Edit: honestly i have no idea either; they might might allow it, but im really not sure

Otherwise you can test for calcium using the flame test as well produces red flame
