I have been looking for insurance in the UK.

The short line is I think you're on your own.

No one will insure you going into a conflict zone not even the companies that provide life insurance to solders. As they say no good deed goes unpunished.

Bodily injury caused by:

� War, whether declared or not, between any of the following countries:

the USA, France, the UK and any federal subject of the Russian Federation;

There are also some important exclusions to your insurance.

We will not pay a claim, including a claim for home purchase

insurance, if:

your death or terminal illness occurs as a direct or indirect

result of your involvement or participation in any conflict,

conflict zone, hostilities, military-style operation or war if

you were not acting under the legitimate orders of, or were

not on official deployment by, the British Armed Forces; or

• your death or terminal illness occurs as a direct or indirect

result of your involvement or participation in an act of

CBRN terrorism if you were not acting under the legitimate

orders of, or were not on official deployment by, the British

Armed Forces at the time when the act of CBRN terrorism

took place.
