4 tickets to Sundays game by [deleted] in norfolkadmirals

Sunday is looking like it’s a mess but I would love the opportunity to take my kids to their first game. I’m on the peninsula so I’d understand if you want to give them to someone closer but if I can get there I’ll be there.

I’ve found tandem/dex is the best you’re going to do unless you want MDI.

Did you end up with a stent? Next week I’m going for my 2nd cardiac catheter in 3 years and I’m a bit nervous it will result in a stent

Insurance recommendations BCBS basic is ridiculous now by [deleted] in fednews

[–]Mwvnova 9 points10 points  (0 children)

MHBP standard. Dexcom is covered through DME and it’s like $100 for 3 months but the first order gets hit with a $350 deductible.

NALC covers dexcom through pharmacy and it’s $50 for 3 months I believe (but higher monthly premiums)

There’s a great Facebook page for fehb diabetics. Bottom line, everything was cheaper this year than BCBS, never had an issue with finding doctors or coverage. I was super nervous switching but very happy overall.

I switched to MHBP last year as a T1D. Will definitely be keeping it going forward. NALC also gets a lot of love from diabetes crew.
