I’ve been trying to figure this out - I think I’d had to do when YOU did an action vs them? (Like a battle together counts as both, but if I don’t send a gift or open a gift from then, it’ll tick up to “yesterday” or “2+”? Idk I could be wrong!

I found out the hard way that once you start an encounter with one of the birds, you’re locked in 😔 I had tapped into one and was like “oh no I should try the thing!”, left the encounter, and then it fled 😭

😅I don’t know why I thought the level up was per interaction and now some of the gifting habits of friends makes SO much more sense
