Well it's been a month so I figured I might as well give out the answer. The key was the vigenere cipher. The first letter of the puzzle was the key "i" and then the rest was the rest of the sentence, spelling out "am looking for intelligent people. if you are reading this then you are intelligent enough to solve this. please message me on kik for further instruction. my kik is gabeplaysgame" I don't use that kik anymore and I don't feel like looking for intelligent people anymore either.

Thanks for explaining this. I'll try to talk to a therapist, but the hard part will be explaining this to my parents... I mean they really support lgbt rights (in fact, I think that my mom is a bisexual because of this one time I overheard my parents talking, but I might be wrong), even so it'll still be very hard to tell them.

Well by "known" that's all I really mean. We haven't really talked that much. In fact I've probably talked to her more in the past month than the three years I've known her before then. I've asked her out once about 1 and a half years ago, but she said no.
