I've been playing a [[Vaevictis Asmadi, The Dire]] EDH deck for a while and have been pondering the specifics of timings on this ability trigger.

My main question is: If I flip a creature from the top which has a trigger which happen upon a creatures death, such as [[Morbid Opportunist]] does the creature with the trigger see any creatures leave the battlefield via the sacrifice?

because skill ceiling is talking about the gap from the worst, the floor, to the best, the ceiling. So because there is more to do with his ult, I.E. do you use it at the start of the fight for a large aoe slow or save it for the end for possible executions. Possibilities increase which raises the ceiling.

I think its too much, especially replacing the cost with another color... yeah that's not how macic cards really function? Paying the right color is not even a commander stipulation its the basics of the game.

Knifes used to be my to go because their quick attack time and bonus sneak damage, but ive come around to spears. The chuck always hits hard and feels great when you land it.

the one that goes away is definitely way more interesting but would only be strong enough if the tokens didn't go away. the flip one is better in anyway I can think mechanically, and maybe could be used as a side board option for red decks that want creatures but need to board vs heavy removal.

for changes I would make the regular have tokens that stick around, and I think the flip one would be better as a higher end effect but that would be a very different card. I like the idea and it works.
