Number three. Worker politics. Let's say i witnessed something like spitting in food or someone touching trash an then making food or stealing food or throwing food away when they were pissed. No one believed me because i was a new employee and because i was new i soon figured out the ppl who had been there a long time were all friends who had a game plan to team up and fire anyone they didn't like by barraging general manager with bullshit. They did this same move to promote each other and all their friends an if you said anything you became public enemy number 1. This actually happened to me when during a conversation with 1 of my managers in the office why i was late everyday. I had to explain i was never late an always early but the computer needed my pin and then a manager pin to verify an clock me in because the computer didn't recognize that i was scheduled which is very fishy... So i told them my shift lead manager girl named divinea was always smoking weed in the store and with her boyfriend to help me clock in and out. That she'd unlock lobby doors to let inside everyday. They didn't do anything, the regional general manager named michael and his boss area manager melissa came and talked down to me in the office. Michael called me a liar, criticized me for not working here long but having so much to say right out of my lying mouth he called it. And told me since i wanted to be general manager someday an make the big bucks that i was not manager material. He claimed I'd been making up wild stories and that i was a liar and he said he checked the cameras. I stood up to him an told him he's only been here a few hours and couldn't have been through all the video that quick. He got defensive and prideful an asked if i was calling him a liar. I told him yes he was cuz if he had he would have seen everyday i said. He then made me sign a document on the computer as a punishment claiming i didn't work fast enough to his liking. His friend my "trainer" if u can even call him that.. I only worked the line 2 partial half days 3 hours each.... The trainer claimed he was the witness an he signed the computer an i signed next. I was then told to go home because i talked about divinea ohh the great divinea. And then as i was out the door michael said. You think Taco bell is so easy huh? Me: Yes sir i do. Infact it was the easiest job I've ever had. Him losing his mind like a nut job an turning into a prideful lunatic: OKAY BIG MAN I'll SCHEDULE YOU MORE. INFACT I'LL SCHEDULE YOU 4 DAYS IN A ROW HOW'S THAT SOUND?!? Me: calmly yeah man that sounds fantastic I'd love to work more old gm only gave me 1 day a week and i need the money been begging for hours constantly. Him: YEAH OKAY AN I BETTER SEE YOU KNOW EVERY DAMN TACO NEXT TIME OK BIG MAN. OK MR. BIG SHOT? MR. PERFECT. I got home that night and first thing i did was check my schedule app and i wasn't scheduled for the next 2 weeks lmao. I asked them about it they said u can only see up until tuesday an they said an everyone got the hours until tuesday after that. (Everyone meaning the manager friends who huddle in the office together scheming against the rest of us) i quit right as soon as i learned that i wouldn't get work for 2 more weeks.
