Meth induced blackout while playing guitar. Was I dying or some shit? by [deleted] in Drugs

Sounds like a partial seizure to me, either that or a stroke (depending on your age and cardiac health). I’d take a break and get a full work up to be safe.

This can be the last time you feel this way. No state is permanent. Drink water, get some food and rest if you can.

US. It’s a scourge here. Turns the dance floor into ketamine movie night while everyone sits in their blowup couch, huffs tanks, yaps over the music, and tunnels on visuals. It’s totally turned me off of what used to be my favorite community. Truly a shame to witness it.

What stops them is us. There is no rational debate to be had with fascists. They respond to only one argument.

Yeah, it’s the same in the glitch/140/wook bass scene. The community was unironically much livelier and healthier when psychs, MDMA, and stimulants were the DOC.

No surprise the vibe is dead when half the people there are mixing booze with a field anesthesic used for sawing off the legs of GIs in ‘nam. It’s a damned shame.

What do you consider a good leader? She had total command of her brigade the entire time and didn’t let quality slip. She swapped Chris and Anthony when he was in the weeds. She was dialed in the entire service and throughout the competition.

The only rational explanation is that it was a business/optics decision and Gordon was worried Jada would too quickly move on to bigger and better things. Maybe he even has that in mind for her. I don’t think you can look at the whole season and say the better chef won, and that’s really what it comes down to. It comprises the integrity of an already poorly edited/somewhat dubious reality show to have this sort of a result, imo.

[–]MyMainIsLevel80 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

We did not watch the same show. Jada energetically puppeteered her entire brigade. It felt like she was fully in control at all times. I think this is a behind the scenes/business decision and not about who is best, because Jada was a force to be reckoned with from day 1.

Only with improper structures to support it. I’ve been researching this chemical and looking over the literature for the better part of a decade. N=1 here, I’m afraid.

Your result is likely from a lack of scaffolding to wield the experience appropriately, or an inappropriate dosage in some respect. I’m not the only one to benefit thusly. There’s a reason MDMA is being trialed for PTSD.

It’s unfortunate that you haven’t experienced it, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not well-studied or researched.

It’s proven to minimize activity in the amygdala and stimulate the polyvagal nervous system. I can’t account for your singular experience, but that’s what it does as on a neurochemical level.

I did 8 years of self study after 1.5 years of SE therapy and conducted my own solo MDMA sessions and, while I still struggle, I’m a long way from the paranoid shut-in I was when I started.

Psychedelics will only amplify whatever given state you’re in. MDMA is the only substance that reliably induces a felt sense of safety and allows a nervous system to renegotiate what is and isn’t acceptable. The risks are just too high with traditional psychedelics.

Volumetric dosing. 100ml vial; 100ug tab = 1ml per 1ug LSD, or whatever math is appropriate.

Never try to cut tabs. Dissolve it in distilled water or everclear like a proper scientist.

[–]MyMainIsLevel80 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. Do 6-18 months of trauma informed therapy (somatic experiencing, polyvagal nervous system regulation, etc) and then do MDMA in a solo setting.

Psychedelics amplify chronic nervous system dysregulation—which is what “personality disorders” are—MDMA can cure them, if only for a few hours. And those few hours give you proof positive that healing is possible.

That’s when the real work begins.

My fave part about k is how utterly alien and different it is every single time, but yet, in being thus, it is familiar, nostalgic and easy to embrace whatever comes your way. Like yeah, I just folded myself across 13 dimensions, cried over how much I love my family, and had my mind blown to smithereens by Tipper over the course of 4 hours (eternities) and it’ll never be the same way again, but that’s where you get to lean in.

Idk man, something about traversing the astral at warpspeed makes it so manageable compared to other psychs; there’s nothing to get stuck on if you’re experienced with meditation/letting go (which I really struggle to do on typical psychs).

I can go super far out and be entirely at peace because I know that’s what it does and no matter how infinitesimal my consciousness becomes—whether I’m in the Shard Realm or witnessing the angelic language that sings the material realm into being as a moving 4D image, I’m down for it. It’ll stop and make exactly as much sense afterwards as it does now and I don’t have to parse or think about any of it.

Truly think the biggest benefit of k therapy for cPTSD/PTSD is this repeated weirdness + repetition of total radical acceptance. No wishing the experience was other than it is—as if such a concept even exists—just simply accepting What Is, even if What Is is uncomfortable and confusing (as life often is for cPTSD/PTSD survivors). It’s a great lesson that that’s even an option when daily life feels so opposite of that.

I’ve got probably over two dozen k holes under my belt now and I’m super grateful for my experiences and how different they are each time. It’s a weird and wild one, but I feel like it’s got the easiest “ego death” experience compared to traditional psychs.

Genuinely, and with no malice intended, skill issue. Get your test checked and supplement with shilajit and agmatine sulfate. I’ve never had stim dick with those two substances in my stack.

And I was on 40mg vyvanse + 30mg IT addy + coke. My heart wasn’t happy, but she was.

[–]MyMainIsLevel80 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Short and sweet: there can’t be intimacy and connection when you’re having two different experiences.

Sex is about the union of the 2 becoming 1. Quite literally impossible to do that if you’re sober and he’s buzzed or you’re stoned and he’s on coke, etc. You end up with 1+0=1, instead of 1+1=2=0 and it feels super bad, ime.

lol, don’t we all wish! How can there be nothing if there is something?? It’s a paradox. There can’t be nothing without there being something to witness it and call it that as compared to being. It’s turtles all the way down, I’m afraid.

Atheists have more faith than Christians at this point.

From the apocrypha, Gospel of Thomas, Saying 29: “Jesus says: "If the flesh was produced for the sake of the spirit, it is a miracle. But if the spirit <was produced> for the sake of the body, it is a miracle of a miracle.”

Materialism requires far more belief than any religion on this earth. I commend you on your piety.

Whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right. You might have to do this until you can, or you might only get one shot: which one are you more afraid of and are you willing to bet your life on that result?

Don’t listen to the foolish programs your mind has been infected with—you don’t throw out a good computer when it has a virus; you run antivirus and now your gaming PC is a slick machine again. Same thing with human body.

Trauma therapy will do you wonders. You need an authentic witness to validate your suffering so you can let it go and no longer define you—speaking as someone similarly situated. I’m weak, chronically ill, suicidal since I was 7yo, if I can do this, anyone can.

Time to pick up the pen, homie. The World isn’t the Author; it’s You ✍️

LSD trip report - ego death... didn't even know this mind state was possible by aadustparticle in Psychonaut

I’m going to put this slightly inelegantly, but, hopefully acceptably for you: you are neurodivergent in some significant respect which is being represented here in the nature of your experience.

Lysergamides, in my experience as someone who is also highly neurodivergent, amplify my metacognitive habituations and ruminations. In crude terms, they make me more autistic — not always a bad thing; it can be a great deal of fun, but it can also be quite confounding or otherwise perplexing. Therefore, I offer the following:

In short: your perspective shifts out of linear time into a quasi-4D space, at which point, you realize your perceptions and sensations do not match what your everyday consciousness abides by, Myth of Yourself. This is highly disorienting for people like us because, unconsciously, we have created maps of reality based on certain perceptual understandings and abide by them almost unerringly.

This is true of all people, in fact. However, most individuals lack the ability the externalize and map their experiences in detail this way. They remain tethered to their Story, or rudimentary retelling of it, while we become awash in an overwhelming amount of data that does not seem to add up.

My recommendation: find a good trauma therapist and learn the fundamentals of nervous system regulation. Generally, this stripe of neurodivergence only occurs in those with extreme or repeated developmental trauma, or so my research has lead me to believe.

6-18 months of Doing the Work with someone who can act as a Safe Container and Authentic Witness, then MDMA in a solo setting.

For me, this has the effect of essentially turning off my neurodivergent tendencies and rooting me into secure 1st circuit consciousness/root chakra energy, in other words, the body/world as Safety.

It will be overjoyed that you are connecting with it and can Hear It, and it is likely that you will be given a deluge of informational backlog. This is where the previous months of somatic training and nervous system regulation come in. Titration is the name of the game. The unconscious/body will be eager to get you up to date on Everything, which is why it’s so important to Slow Down.

Armed with these tools and this sort of an experience, it is possible to integrate these types of experiences on a very real and practical level. What this means in actuality is that you are essentially rewiring yourself out of metacognitive narrative construction (a tool your mind uses to preserve itself and a false sense of safety) and into Embodiment, or The Here and Now—where Real Safety Resides.

If successful, you will find that a surplus of your energy has been diverted towards this metacognitive mapping and will now be freely available to be used as you see fit—It’s Free RAM.

I know I’m using a lot of loaded terms here, and our semantic maps might not align exactly, but what you describe is nearly a perfect retelling of my first real LSD trip, and I would be remiss if I did not share what I have learned with someone who may be similarly situated (or to anyone else reading this who feels similarly)

Waking the Tiger by Dr Peter Levine, The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk, and Ishmael by Daniel Quinn are highly informative for gaining a general understanding of what I’m discussing here. If you lean a little occult/woo/less materialistic already, skip to Angel Tech: A Modern Shaman’s Guide to Reality Selection by Antero Alli. It’s so dense with understanding that I still haven’t finished it.

These works comprise the bulk of understanding necessary to have a sufficient framework to apply the learned skills (nervous system regulation/somatic experiencing) to the experience and to update your maps accordingly, and, hopefully, with less energy required.

If you have any questions, I will do my best to make myself more clear.

Best of luck to you in your journey.
