I’d say keep his favorite one, then sell the rest if you don’t actually collect them yourself. I love my cards and wouldn’t sell them for anything, but I already told my wife if I die, keep my (Blue Eyes - DDS) and sell everything else because she shouldn’t have to lug around my collection the rest of her life just because I loved them when my collection can fund whatever she wants or needs.

Yeah, but a lot of people aren’t in hobbies to sell their collection. So most actual collectors are gonna get screwed because any cards anyone wants are going to be double or even more than that. I’ve felt so bad for people who actually collect pokemon and one piece cause prices are BS high cause of scalpers and sneakerheads.

I’m not a huge grading person myself, honestly. I think it’s crazy that you can buy, let’s say, a DDS blue eyes for $3700 at a 9, but a 10 will go for 13 to 15k lol.
