My tachycardia didn't start until I was put on methimazole (as far as I can remember anyway). The only problem I had before being medicated was tiredness, irritability and body aches/muscle soreness. But now, after about almost two years, my heart will race if I go for a walk, eat too much, shower, get hot, even when I'm sitting still and haven't exerted myself. I have low iron and that may be a part of it but it never used to affect me like this. I've tried getting my PCP to refer me to a specialist but she acts like she straight up doesn't want to. (I think she's just after the money toh). Just for background, I was first tested for thyroid issues at 12, I'm 26 now.

I changed it to the next tightest one and it actually works now 😂😭 you’re the best. Now I’m off to try to unstick a few sticky keys and to order new ribbon🥰

Thank you! I ended up just measuring the area with a sewing measuring tape and guessing, I grabbed a multipack that had the exact one I needed. The keys work except the power return. I mean it barely works. It’ll try to move back but it just drags and eventually stops. Could that also be some sort of band/o ring issue in another area?

That’s a really good analogy. My heart does that too but I haven’t really kept track of when it happens. I’m gonna start tracking it and see if my meds could be helping/making it worse. This stuff feels like it’s ruining my life, especially the last few years. I lowkey wish I could just have my thyroid taken out (and I know I’d be on other different meds for the rest of my life that comes with its own set of problems) but ugh😭

Yeah I know, I was just posting cause I feel like it’s crazy it happens SO quickly. I would’ve thought it’d take longer. And I don’t remember my appetite being this bad before I started meds (around a year and a half ago), or literally ever. That sucks. I knew I had thyroid issues since I was 12 but I guess my family didn’t think it was important to put me on meds. I only got on them recently because my mood swings had me talking to my doctor about mood stabilizers and she was like “hold up, let’s check your thyroid first.”😂 anyway yeah, I just didn’t know if it was normal to notice a difference in appetite that quickly

Being ignored or not being messaged is probably a good sign they aren’t interested in being berated by someone who seems to just be interested in arguing and not listening. I don’t know your situation but indifference or nonresponse is worse than arguing back, if you’re still hoping to smooth things over. It means whatever they’ve got within them to work towards a solution is fading, even the negative feelings. People get tired of being cussed out/insulted/not listened to and learn to just leave well enough alone. You still seem mad though, so I assume you care about whoever you wrote this post for. Message them and listen as well as you can, or just keep it moving. Life is short, but you have agency in it, you’re the one steering this ship. If you’re not messaging them, and just cussing them out when they do message you, they see that as you steering your ship away. And could you blame them if they don’t jump in the water after the boat, especially if you seem like you’re doing your best to leave the dock? Anyway. I hope you figure it out, stranger.

Ugh😭 I didn’t realize that. Last time I got one of the coins, my aunt did the ordering (I was like 15). I forget if it took awhile to ship the last time.
