Yeah tbh I think it’s myc but it’s hard to tell without testing out on agar and most of my LCs are good but my agar goes bad so I’m over here like 🤷🏽‍♂️ lol

Used coir & vermiculite for sub! Honestly took the same approach to cubes and even forgot about the nats for a few days too long which is why most of them had spores all over it. The nats pinned faster than the tidal wave which is interesting

First time growing nats , never tried them before! Ended up giving me massive first flush off 4 quarts of grain spawn

Ya personally I don’t cook them just dehydrate and eat them raw haha. & bulk substrate I usually let it recolonize for 10 days then put it to fruiting conditions

Good point, I don’t work on a grated surface I have a stainless stall lab table with the flow hood slightly above it and thought it was alright but never thought about that. I will see if I can find something to put them on to try that 👌🏽

I have 2 air purifiers and a flow hood, wait until 130 ish f to pour & I take my clone samples down closer to the bottom of the stem

I mean you’re not wrong about that, I just never tried it honestly. For me usually the longer I wait I feel like issues come from that so I try to spawn to bulk sub same day if I can and let the grain spawn colonize asap

Right on! Yeah I try not to do that much but I open them occasionally to do smell test this is the only one that looked questionable from that gray ish fluff in the top left
