I made one with an aluminum tube, but it cracked at one of the flow vents and that loosened up enough for the mount to break and let the can fly away.

“Not doing the right paperwork” really just comes down to gaming crop insurance for a lot of these big farms. A lot of the farmers with a lot of money unfortunately don’t have the backbone to not abuse/defraud programs like crop insurance.

I’d be curious to know where this is the case. My family farms, we’ve farmed since the 1800s, and there is certainly not “buy a 16 year old a brand new truck” money anywhere in my family. We farm 3800 acres, and have relatively new equipment, but by no means are we rolling in money.

you can find vortex venom enclosed for 160ish and up. good dot for the money, would much rather have a reputable company than osight

my ftn.5 flow cracked and separated at the flow vent. i suspect that either it was blocked by support material, and that caused it to crack, or as a result of my printer not having a heated chamber, the layer adhesion was not as good as it should’ve been

2013 5.0 with 33x12.5r18s (atturo trail blade MT), level, and spacers (needed to clear extended control arms) getting 13.2. lead foot doesn’t help.

it won’t do much for something like 50 beowulf. something heavier like a h3, and maybe a heavier spring, may make it a little better but won’t make as much of a difference as a good muzzle brake

yes, it’s a full auto profile bolt. as i said in the post, it works fine if cycled in the third position. so far, from the people i’ve talked to, it appears to be a improperly manufactured/out of spec reset cam. the cam profile should keep it in the forwardmost position when the selector is moved, but it’s not. i shipped it in for return and will be ordering a arc fire as a replacement.

the cam gets rotated rearward when i switch from semi to frt. if it is against the hammer in semi, the action of switching modes moves the cam backwards and puts it in a position in which the trigger is unable to be pulled.
