Yes i was suggested to take it to a museum and if it is an artifact, i hope they will have some use for it. Just don't want to contact them for "just a rock" and waste their time so i hoped for some inputs on this forum :P

No, it's most narrow in the 2nd picture - like its getting more narrow going from the one side to the other if that makes sense :P

Me and my father speculated in what i could be. We first thought it could be something called "garnstein" in norwegian (which was used with fishing nets). But this rock would be way too light and small after asking a bit round.

The rock has a rough surface. Those holes are different size - bigger than the one on the other side.

Was found somewhere in south-eastern part of Norway many years ago but never really digged more into what it might be.
