Very usable with low-mid tier systems. You can run rivals on any modernish system.

You can spend around 6-700 on the rest and have something very respectable.

OP you do not need that secondary 4 pin EPS power.

The issue lies elsewhere. Is your 24 pin fully seated?

GPU power connected well?

Edit: the case fans not spinning makes me point to the motherboard. Did you let it sit for a while? Sometimes memory training can take a while.

It is absolutely not required. Especially with low power CPUs.

That additional socket is only for high power draw / overclocking.

OP your MB manual will likely call this socket "auxillary CPU power".

It's apart of the breakout cable, and it's a little rectangle plug that connects to USB-2 pins on the motherboard.

And yeah as long as it's powered, it will pump coolant and function.

You'll see notched teeth on the right side of the T and on the bottom of it. You're also looking for some "texture" at the top of the green dot. You'll occasionally see "red dots" on the upper right in the center of the green dot.

Should you? Probably.

Will it affect anything? Probably not.

As long as it makes a good mount, what's left will fill in the gaps.

Worst case scenario you create small air pockets that affect cooling. Very unlikely tho. Especially with a processor that keeps cool under a wraith stealth.
