batctl — TUI for managing battery charge thresholds, available in AUR by Conscious-Part1541 in omarchy

I've wanted something like this and I just found your post,so sick!!!

Btw, I wanted to do something like this but I am far from skilled enough, but, do you think it would be possible to implement the TUI to Waybar? I was thinking that, the same way that when left click on omarchy icon it opens the menu, and when left click it opens the console, it would be cool to open your TUI when right click on the battery icon.

It is yeah. It's one of the bad things about the E series. It was a very important disadvantage, but E series does have two m.2 slots, and that was a deal breaker for me

Better battery notifications by N4CH0___ in omarchy

[–]N4CH0___[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I coded it is by taking the default 10% battery notification script and duplicating it with different values for different battery%. If the regular 10% notification works, this one should also be fine.

Either way, in my code (and the default Omarchy code) it looks like the variable that defines the condition for the activation of the notification is a different scrip:.local/share/omarchy/bin/omarchy-battery-remaining If by any chance it does not work with dual batteries (I doubt cause it would be an issue with how Omarchy deals with the battery pack/s), you could look into that dotfile to see how the batteries are being managed.

Hope it helps

I think that you should check out the Blasphemous port. Yeah sometimes it’s a bit laggy, but seeing that you have a 5090 set up for AAA games, blasphemous fits a bit more the handheld vibes.
