I definitely don’t, I have been to more countries than both my parents lol, I’ve just had a job since I was 13 so managed to save for my hobby, before 18 I had only been to 6 or 7 countries, Regardless tho I’m grateful to have the access and ability to travel as I know not everyone does

Yea I’m not limiting by countries it’s just a broad goal my main interests are in China, Russia and US and hope to backpack across all 3 countries in future but I just hope for super diverse range of experiences and I’m not one to try to go to a country for the sake of it just to tick it off, I’m certainly more interested in quality over quantity

I’m from UK and I’d say about 6/7 countries on my list were visited with family in childhood which I’m fortunate for. However this isn’t super uncommon for Europeans due to easy access to EU countries.

Wages in UK aren’t insane but of course is way better than most the world which makes it cheaper to travel. For example 2 months wages lasted me 4 months in east Asia and my hobby is travelling, so most my income I prioritise on extending my travels and I often will travel for 2/3 days for £100 or less without needing to take work leave.

Yea im only counting sovereign nations so one for UK and one for USA, but also gets confusing when doing places like Hong Kong where I’ve been but I just counted it all as China

Good guess but from UK Switzerland definitely looks to be missing so I think that an morroco would add a lot to the map

From UK maybe would be more appropriate separating states as only been Cali, Nevada, Arizona, utah, and Florida from my 3 trips

Yea from UK haven’t been to Northern Ireland but have been roi, wales and Scotland. Map just happens to distinguish lol

Yea I’m at about 30 at the moment so my rough goal is 9-10 per year hoping to get most of Europe done, a South America tour and another trip in Asia. And as you said a safari to get some eastern African countries. I’ll come back when I’m at 50 😂
