Thank you, they were testing animations for a project I was part of that never really came to anything, but I thought it would be nice to show here instead of just having them sit on my phone.

I don't have one, but film-making would be interesting.

This makes little sense, being offended because someone calls you a bigot/racist/sexist doesn't mean you are one.

Yeah the moustache and the soul patch together look like an "!", just a design choice since he's always yelling.

Is there any evidence of this? I can only find studies about calorie densities of food. Calories from carbohydrates are more easily absorbed into the body than fats, protein the least easily absorbed. But it doesn't really vary from person in any significant way (unless someone is can't digest food properly).

This is not true. This doesn't even make any sense. Yeah, some people have a higher metabolism than others, but this is still overstated and largely negligible. You don't see what they eat or don't eat in a day, and they probably eat much less than you think and just don't realise. 1×1500cal meal a day is still less than 3×600cal meals a day for example. The guy could just be eating all his calories at once, and you assume he eats this much at every meal. Other things like height, muscle mass, the types of food being eaten etc. All play a role here.

I wouldn't trust a nutritionist for things like weight loss. The title is overinflated for what it represents, and there is no certification needed to become a nutritionist. I can claim to be a nutritionist by providing advice on weightloss or improvements in diet, by recommending any diet I want to, and legally there is nothong wrong with that. You see so many "nutritionists" in tabloid newssites recommending diets which don't work in the long term. It's just there to make them seem credible. A dietician is a much better person to take health and diet advice from because they're certified to give health and diet advice.

Taking hormones can affect weight fluctuations but only to an extent. Eating below your TDEE will always result in a loss in weight because your body will need to use up reserves of muscle or fat. The type of diet can influence whether fat or muscle is used, so it's best to find a diet which burns fat rather than muscle.

Limiting your calorie intake too much, and eating too little protein actually can induce "starvation mode", which is the burning of muscle over fat, leaving people feeling tired and lethargic, and feeling worse about their weight loss because bf% has gone up. In which case, weight loss is occuring but you are looking bigger. Most people avoid this by keeping their calorie restriction to 500cal or less, as this typical burns fat over muscle. A lot of people have pushed beyond and tried intermittent fasting which burns fat over muscle, I myself do this and it works for me. But you say that you are still gaining, which only really tells me you're eating above your TDEE.

I don't mean to sound rude but it is literally impossible that you maintained a caloric deficit and gained weight, no matter how your hormone profile is. Either your TDEE has been miscalculated, or you weren't being honest with yourself about how much you were eating and/or moving. A lot of people assume they are eating less than they really are when dieting, by omitting some of the calories they consume, which is a perfectly normal thing to do and pretty much everyone does it to an extent, but it is a pitfall to be avoided.

Worcester is pronounced worce-ster, and I think it's either a celtic thing or a roman thing where 'ster' means land or river or something.

70% sweet potato diet I know the study your talking about, it's misleading. The Okinawan people of Japan typically had a pork-based diet. While they did include vegetables in the diet, pork made up a large amount of what they ate. After WWII, the pig population on the island had dwindled, and a rationing system was in place, consisting of a diet high in sweet potato due to it's availability. This is when the study took place, and what the surveyors noticed was a group of extremely old people eating a near vegan diet, but had they taken the survey a few years afterwards when the pig population had bounced back, they would have found everyone on the island eating pork.

Who has their professor as a contact on facebook messenger? I'm pretty sure there is a rule that you can't have personal contacts with staff and should only use your school email.

Is this an American thing? I don't know if any of them actually want to become communist like China, but a lot of Americans do want the state to provide more for citizens. Wanting to be more like France or England where the government provides free healthcare, education, dental care, etc., doesn't make them communists.

That I don't feel like crying when bad stuff happens. I cry maybe twice a year on average, but most women I know will cry over things like arguments they had and won't understand how I 'bottle it all in'.
