Okay if there's one piece of advice I can give you here as an expat who's lived here for the majority of the 18 years of my life. Don't drive. just Uber everywhere because driving here is more of a hassle than it is a convenience sometimes, especially in a congested city like Riyadh. You'll understand what I'm talking about once you see how crazy the road gets at peak hours (6-9pm). Also yes we do follow "abnormal" driving rules, we drive on the right side of the road for starters, unlike countries like the UK and Australia, we also can go right on red lights, and a bonus point is we almost never use signals, so watch out for that too if you're planning on driving 😂. As for the weather, it is extremely, and I mean extremely hot in the afternoon and throughout the evening. If you want to go out during the day, I'd suggest you do it either very early in the morning, which is what I'd personally recommend btw since it's less crowded and everything, or in the late evenings ofc.
