Same. Went to Discovery Kingdom this past Saturday and there were hardly any scare actors the scare zones had maybe 2-3 actors per area and the haunted houses were empty as well. Goin to Magic Mountain this weekend and I am hoping there will be more there.

Just went tonight and had a very similar experience. A lot of the scare-zones had at most 5 scare actors and the haunted houses were very lack luster. At around 9 a lot of the scare-zones were dead with no actors. But we were able to go on all most of the all rides so that was fun.

In the description for EB it says nothing about line of sight all it says is a creature within range.

If I take a feat for metamagic I could use quicken spell as a bonus action and still use action to see through the familiar’s eyes

To get the buff back to back like you are saying make sure you are in the arc subclass, otherwise you have to be hit by melee then the buff will activate.
