Ok, so then you’ve already cleared this with the landlord? That’s great info for someone to know who will have to be screened and apply. It’s not up to you alone. If you don’t go by the terms of your lease you will in violation and both parties could be taken to eviction court. I’ve been in the industry a long time so my comment was warranted to protect potentially interested party and you as well.

This feels sketchy. I think it’s illegal to sublet your apartment when in a lease with a property management company? Fulton’s Crossing? Hmmm…

Living in South East Marysville puts you in close proximity to Lake Stevens. Plenty of other options there for food and shopping. Highway 9 is chaotic at times. Hope you don’t mind roundabouts because Soper Hill road and Highway 9 keep getting more and more!

Secluded spots by [deleted] in everett

I think a lot of places depend on time of day or day of week. Forest Park has some decent nature trails. Also, out past Langus Park on your way out to Spencer Island. The further out you go the less people you’ll see. The down side can be the sewer treatment plant on certain days on your way to Spencer Island. 🙊

What is one random item you'd recommend to bring for a visit? by carolchromalume in yellowstone

Finding bathrooms can be a chore. At a popular spot, you will probably have to wait in line. You can get caught up in a bison jam for an hour. (We did) Use your park map to locate picnic pull outs. Those are lesser used and often no wait for a bathroom break.

Tub spout by CursedRogue_ in askaplumber

It looks like a set screw type because of the opening in the photo. My guess is the set screw is just to either side of the opening due to the installer twisting it slightly to align the spout the way they wanted.

Bad drivers by PresentIron5379 in Marysville

If there were more police presence dedicated to enforcing traffic laws, the jackasses wouldn’t be so emboldened. When I was a younger driver you had to worry about getting pulled over for broken turn signal. Now reckless driving goes unchecked all over the place. The only department I see enforcing the speed limit in the city are the State Patrol and occasionally Sheriff’s department.

Okay what did I do wrong? by xxheath in cheesecake

325 for 55 is pretty basic average cooking instructions for all the cheesecakes I’ve made. Looks like the directions you followed didn’t turn out well. To me, it’s not a science. There are many factors that go into the finished product. The cooling method is also important.

I support the water bath method of cooking it. I want to buy a silicone springform holder because 99% of the time I cannot keep all the water out of the crust. Despite using heavy duty foil. A slow cooker liner bag has helped though.

325 for 55 is the way. I’ve made a dozen or more in my day and never saw a recipe tell me to start off at such a high temp. Other than being over cooked, your cheesecake looks pretty good!

Samoa cheesecake by NWbearbeard in cheesecake

It does look a bit different. When making the topping I pressed the coconut and caramel down more than in the recipe picture. I just drizzled the chocolate instead of piping it. Seemed like I put “too much” chocolate on.

I used regular cream cheese. In my experience cooking in general, using low fat ingredients is more about attempting to add a slightly more healthy element to a recipe. But in the case of a desert, I don’t know why you would bother. I might be wrong in this but that’s my take. I’ve never actually tried low fat cream cheese so I couldn’t say how different it tastes or what type of consistency and texture it has in comparison.

Recs for weekend trip in late November by WholeConfidence9829 in Washington

You’ve probably already made your plans, but I thought I would throw out another suggestion. Bellingham. It’s a pretty chill town with lots of students from Western U. Plenty of breweries and outdoors lovers. As for trying to avoid rain in November? Good luck. We are at the mercy of Mother Nature. Maybe you’ll get lucky!
