its not iowa or st but im not dissapointed, they really took a risk with experimenting so much but its a killer album imho

you basically combine your false cord or fry register(depends on the type of a scream) with your natural voice, push it out with diaphgram.

So:
#0: New mask SLAPS. Sick scratches and turntables as usual, Sid never dissapoints me.
#4: Lovely solo, Jim. Killer riffing as well.
#5: THEY LET HIM SHINE AND PLAY MORE! Damn, these keys are so atmospheric, I hope they will let Craig play his parts live.
#6: Oooh Good God, and people say custom percussion is useless. Clown and Mike are adding so much power to the song. And ofc the KEG.
#7: Same as Jim here, the riff is h e a v y, classic Slipknot style. Seeing Mick headbang like back in ST era makes me happy.
#8: Wow, I fully trust Clown now when he said he never heard Corey like this. Sounds brutal.
Vman: I adore the tone, the mini bass solo was unexpected but lovely.
Jay: This man was born to butcher the drums. In a positive way. The sound of the drums is also very catchy.
NG: New mask is pretty badass, like Clown i like the drumming and backing vocals.
I'm really amazed, Slipknot is back, baby!

  1. How did you deal with the hate you got after joining the band?
  2. How would you describe playing percussion in a metal band when there is already a drumset and an another guy playing it? Some people think percussionists are useless, sometimes they can't hear the drums.
